 | Woke is most lazy meaningless buzzword it's sad the conservatives are becoming so lacking in any form of critical thinking they can' even formulate arguments anymore they use buzzword like woke anytime black people or women are or any part of LGBT+ community is the series,games,movies since they know being openly sexist,homophobic and racist is not popular anymore. As the saying goes for conservatives and the right there are two genders straight white male or political this buzzword is beyond laughable. Granted if someone doesn't like the show and actually criticizes writing,charecterization or acting it's completely fine by me,but then the world is becoming so lacking in intelligence and lazy they think throwing buzzwords is an argument you know social media rotted so many people brains. I personally think with rare exceptions in tv show area and rare great shows like Shogun,Fallout,The Boys,House Of The Dragon and Sugar I mostly agree that the quality of games,movies and tv shows is going down too I mean just look how stacked with masterpieces 2000's and 2010's where The Wire,Sopranos,Boardwalk Empire,Banshee,Black Sails,Vikings,Breaking Bad,Better Call Saul,Mr.Robot,Sons Of Anarchy,Band Of Brothers,Mad Men,24,Dexter,Deadwood,Rome,Sparatacus,Game Of Thrones(1-6 seasons) etc. awesome show after awesome show and compare to how few good shows there are too watch now golden age of television is over,but it's not because woman and minorities are in tv shows they where back then plenty in masterpiece level shows like The Wire,its because the writing and character development is lacking in modern shows and lazy writing or marvel like quippy dialogue leads to forgettable shows. |
