Probably children. I know a lot of people giving flack about Disney and their latest remakes but these are all adults complaining who would watch this. Children is who. |
The same people who spent 1200$ on a Taylor Swift ticket have already seen this once and are going to see it again this weekend. When there is a proper copy they will want that until the collectors item Blu-Ray comes out |
watched this with my daughter. loved it! lots of humor and laughter. definitely more chick flick type of comedy, but i thoroughly enjoyed the laughs! |
You and your daughter will have fun reading the book if you haven't already, highly recommend. |
Says Part 1? Musical sequels should be prohibited by law and made illegal. |
except the first "blues brothers" movie cause thats awesome and a classic |
This is supposed to be Part One, there will be a Part Two if it does well and it's already estimated to pull in $100-120 million this weekend which is its opening weekend with Wicked Part Two already securing a November 21st, 2026 release date. Judy Garland gotta be rolling in her grave. |
Part 2 is Already Completed and is out at the Same Time Next Year.... I don't know why though, film kinda looks terrible, But I guess its made for Kids |
We finally have representation of green actors in cinema once more! |
Read the book. Saw the stage play. Went to see the movie last night. Major disappointment. There was so much more they could have done with it that the play didn't. And Grande was horrible, didn't look the part and absolutely can't act. |
This is not my cup of tea but i must admit everyone seems to like it. On twitter the director of the Shadow Strays just said he loved it as an example. |
Thanks! Similar excellent release after IINA or similar adjusts for color and sound. Color; drop gamma about 15%, boost saturation 50% or more, lower contrast 14% or so, drop brightness just a hair. Good color. Now Audio is a little diff EQ; 62.5hz+6db, 125hz+10db, 250hz+10db, 500hz+6db, 2k-4db, 8k-4b. leave the rest alone. Enjoy this one as well with smaller compression! |
My wife dragged me to see this play on Bway way back in2004.Night out with my wife,my mother in law and aunt in law. I was still working at the time and was hoping to rest up b4 I had to go back to work 12am Monday, so I dreaded going to see some pansy azz play based on The Wizard of Oz. I saw the movie, and The Wiz play, what more could they drag outta that story right? One of the best musicals I've seen and I've seen a few. I was so glad I didn't fake sick to get outta going. Hope the movie does that play justice |
