@Cyberian - I didn't take what @Jaxe said as "Bigotry" at all? I'm not sure how you were able to derive that or reference "Archie Bunker", out of what he said even in the least...simply twisting someone's words won't cut it! Hence, so if I made a reference to "Soul glo", from the movie "Coming to America"...would it be a bigoted phrase/statement, simply because we are in 2020+ and not in 1970's, and I'm sure I could construct a phrase to leave it up for debate? Yet, the "timeframe" should simply leave either no ideology of what someone is saying, nor impose a "stereotype" on an individual! That's standardizing someone for the wrong reason(s), and thought you'd know that! How would you like to be categorized, for writing something? It can be easily done to you or anyone as well & at will, if you're/they're not careful! I can use your words and twist them just as you have against @Jaxe, and yet I believe this was done/said to him quite unjustly! I didn't find the above phrase of what he wrote, nor his comments in general over the years, he is not a bigot, in any sense of the word! So why not think of positive to say on TGX instead of blasting someone? Happy Holidays to you and everyone & get in a festive spirit as opposed to getting 5 or 6 out of hundreds out thousands of people to agree with your "negative" comment! TGx brought out an outstanding movie & thanks to everyone at TGx who had a role in getting it out to us!:) Looking forward to watching it & writing a review. Thanks again @Jaxe my good buddy for your comments, which I have appreciated since being a member!:) Thank you and Happy Holidays to everyone! Very Respectfully, RT!:) |
Looks like alot disagree with your first part of your comment @ReadThis so do i |
The dude second left on the cover lks like Christopher Walken |
It was rather beastly of grandpapa and grandma to play this on on Christmas day after Xmas lunch This motion picture was awfully ghastly |
Barry Keoghan has come a long way since he played 'Hoody 1' in an episode of 'Jack Taylor' |
The trailer gives me the impression this is like a 'adult' version of a Harry Potter movie, so I'll pass ;) |
It should be familiar territory for many. There is even a scene with a young man running around with his c--k out. |
Fashion doesn't make it's way into country towns, time itself runs at a different pace, due to the eternal presence of death. Instead their is a kind of pseudo-fad. Not to be confused with cow-licks, refrigeration, silos, flies and feces. You can wear them, but they often will not allow you inside the local diner. |
Just waiting for all the homophobic and racist comments to come thru. If they do the co-ordinators should ban them. |
This filth must be made by citizens of Americas greatest ally. |
The story of empire cannot be escaped unfortunately. Like the clutches of a fast and powerful flowing river, you will all be pulled along unwilling until it decides to spit you out, or drag you under. |
And we thought narrow minded views and bigotry of the Archie Bunker era was in the past yet here you are every time... |
Correct, vladek, you clearly don't get the humour in Cyberian's reply. Doubt, though, that Cyberian is a "snowflake". |
Mind virus people never understand comedy, they only ever look at the box they put people in and react to that, mantra chanting lemmings. V/9 A/9 Movie/3 |
Dunno Going by the flares, kipper ties and Ford Cortinas it lk more like the 70s |
@ Cyberian Awesome "All in the Family" Burn! I could picture all the young people googling it. lol Even tho the show promoted the opposite views. They needed Archie and his toxic personality to educate the people like him. But the show is awesome! |
I thought it went out With the Bee Gees and Studio 54 |
"All in The Family" was a remake of a British show called "Till Death Do Us Part". |
