Just watched the film: didn't read and reviews or comments, or see any trailers. It was supremely cringe-worthy in the most wonderful manner. I am tempted to review the plot, but it had me, the slow dawning about half-way through was a treat that I will not spoil for you. I would give it a solid nine. Rosamund Pike was perfect in her role. |
We thought we has seen all the cast in movies before but the only one we had seen was Barry Keoghan and in quite a few movies The first one was 'Norfolk' |
A film with very intense performances, good film! Thanks for the post. |
does anyone care to rate the movie ? for a second i thought i was on " thaivisa.com" |
7 out of 10. A modern take on an old English story. Themes such as tragedy, loss. the death of innocence, class, privilege, one's place in society. An empire revisited. |
The movie is starts in 2006, and the bulk of the film is in the summer of 2007 |
4:3 is the perfect aspect ratio for us to view movies on our 'RCA' 6 inch B&W portable TV |
Because 'widescreen' screens weren't around when this movie is set |
@Guest-2969 That's flawed logic there no? So should movies about cave-men only be shown on carved stone tablets? |
@Cyberian Sadly, you're correct. But then, we can always hope that Trump and BLM kill each other off in the desert somewhere which would rid us of a majority of stupidity here in the states. |
