no. widescreen isn't inherently better, it's a perfectly valid artistic choice to shoot in a narrow aspect ratio: the director explained this choice in an interview: “It gives you the impression of peeping in, and that’s kind of what this is. It’s a doll’s house and we’re all kind of peeping in, scrabbling to get in" |
