Appears that the movie was cast and written to garner Academy Awards. |
Not a new story and it was on broadway with basically the same cast. |
I would have to assume that the poster showing the piano on fire and burning in a field is the ending. |
Unless of course (i) that's not the titular piano, and/or (ii) that happens at the beginning and the movie is based on flashbacks from character perspectives. In either case, you'd actually have to watch the film in order to know what happens. A novel concept I know Mr. J., but you get my drift don't you? |
My mom used to tell us, "Never 'assume'... it makes an 'ass' of 'u' and 'me'." Listen to momma babes |
I know Liberal Lesbo's mind was elsewhere when she typed "titular". LOL! |
Also, apart from making assumptions, you would be wiser not to judge others by your own standards (whatever depths they might happen to be scraping) |
Just reading the description I think I have a great compomise. Take pictures and videos, casts/imprints of the carvings and then sell the piano and buy the land. Done, movie over. |
Why would anyone drag a piano into the middle of a field and set fire to it |
If you look at the cast listing, producer, writer, etc and you see the last name Washington, they are all from the same family. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15507512/ That is always not a good sign. You cast your own family members to save money because casting an actor or actress who is already known to the audience, that takes money. |
John David never was much good at holding a straight job. His Uncle is trying to set him on a new path as a 'C' actor. Or, they blew their budget on Sam Jackson. Speaking of Sam, surprised he had time to shoot between his wasted efforts at brown nosing KH. |
