Honestly, the concept was really good. It just felt rushed and the dialogue wasn't the best. But overall I actually found it fun. |
hello wonderful people. Where can I download the subtitles in Spanish? Thanks a lot 🤙 |
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/imdbid-5834426/sublanguageid-spa/moviename-moonfall |
My face lit up when I saw this but then I saw the '5.3' rating and jaxe's '1' so not so sure now |
Why ? @jaxe is rating the movie instead of the Torrent quality which it clearly states [Torrent quality] NOT [Movie quality] He/She can't even get that right and for someone that's been here a while !! |
Now I have read jaxe's full review I am really confused what to do? |
I'm confused too why do you think we care jaxe never has an original comment/review their always some one else's put your big boy/girl pants on and think for yourself it doesn't hurt just saying |
ReadThis is a high and mighty 4r$eh0le wh0 thinks he's L0rd of the Man0r but in realitea is just a st1nky piece of carb0n lifef0rm exCreTa who means nothing to the NWO of guEsts who can trample it int0 fertiLizer. |
Anyone seriously looking for a review this is an impossibly bad film. Like pretty much everything else being made these days. |
To be precise: it's a well made movie of a horribly bad story. The acting is okay, the special effects are fine (most if the time), but the story line is just awful and silly. |
Stupid reply...from another stupid guest who shouldn't be able to comment! |
Isn't ReadThis the one who claimed guests insult others (see thread "8 Winds")? Mirrors still not working? Hm. Try new batteries, ReadThis. |
Ah, how cute! The same old crowd giving each other likes. Again. Get a room already. |
Wait. "Spanks" is a comment, ReadThis wrote the reply. Is ReadThis just being honest about his own reply? |
Director Roland Emmerich, the purveyor of by the number recycled disaster films. Every one of his movies use the same template and outline. The only things that changes with each one of his latest film is the cast and the location setting. This is your standard Roland Emmerich big noisy loud CGI overloaded disaster film. If you have seen his other movies like Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, Godzilla 1998, 2012.... you've already seen this: 38% out of 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes which makes this film a rotten tomato. Some of the reviews: 1. In the credits for Moonfall, theres at least one astronaut consultant listed, but most of the film feels like a sustained dare to create the least realistic space movie ever made. 2. This is for people who want to see landscapes blow up and large things dropped onto other large things. Those are the only pleasures on offer. 3. Moonfall is every bit as big, loud and stupid as you'd expect, but Roland Emmerich's latest disaster epic is also an unforgivably dull slog. 4. The plot makes very little sense, the dialogue is awful, the twists are hilarious when they shouldnt be it might be one of those so bad its good films for some people. For me, its just bad. 5. The basic plot the moon is falling out of orbit is silly enough. But writer/director Roland Emmerich also ladles on a planetoids worth of crank theories about ancient aliens and sentient AIs cribbed from other, better films. 6. This film is totally stupid, but perhaps not stupid enough. 7. Emmerich delivers the goods in two hours, a shorter running time than his better-known adventures. That would be good news if Moonfall didn't feel like a three-hour movie cut down to two. |
Point 1 (realism) - this ain't no 2001: A Space Odyssey and Emmerich sure as Hell ain't no Kubrick |
The moon is falling out of orbit is as plausible as falling into a 'Star Gate' on Japetus (one of the moons of Saturn) like what happened to David Bowman in 2001: A Space Odyssey (well, in the book, in the movie they only made it to Jupiter) |
In other words: a consulting astronaut who's only asset to the movie was claiming part of the budget. Who would have guessed? |
