I really love and miss Haley Bennett, the tender beauty of her face really touches my soul, it's a shame there aren't many films she stars in, I must watch this film! |
At the heart of every farm is women. Without women, farms collapse and fall apart. Women are the best workers, and by far the most reliable. They treat the equipment responsibly and with care. IMPORTANTLY women do not give up when times are tough and hold things together. |
About time we start seeing movies about more everyday, yet extraordinary and inspiring women who, against deeply entrenched societal and legal oppression, refused to submit, and by a combination of strength, will, and sheer hard work, followed and achieved their dreams and goals! Haley Bennett is an added bonus as, imo, she's an underappreciated actress who has done interesting work. Will watch this as soon as I can. TY! |
She wasn't an "everyday woman" Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin was from a wealthy French aristocratic family and married into (more like a business merger) another wealthy French family. Due to her parent's and in-law's connections she later became friendly with Napoleon and Josephine. Your post has no relation to reality. |
Unlike the males ,who came from wealthy families and were passed on their parents estates. |
It is predominately women who teach and care for you in day care, hospital and aged care. The story of the "self-made man" is the fantasy. There never has been and never will be such a thing as a man who made himself. It's preposterous. Boys are pampered and cared for by mothers. Then pampered and cared for by others. |
Guest-1976, great comment! Nobody - no man nor woman - deserves any credit whatsoever for any achievement, according to your impeccable logic. Nobel Prize winners? Forget about 'em! Great authors, musicians, humanitarians, scientists? A bunch of nothings! The world should follow your lead and embrace mediocrity! |
Coochy, coochy, coo! Fetch the tissues, and I'll wipe away your little tears boys. Only when you open your hearts can you become real men. You are no longer silly, little boys. It's time to grow up and become gentlemen. You are no longer my little piggys. |
The trailer says a lot. This isnt a movie on wine making. Its about feminism and as they call it, 'smashing the patriarchy'. The imdb 6.6/10 from 278 users says a lot about the movie. |
You might like The Red Revolution. A tedious examination of wine makers struggling to penetrate the Chinese market, only to have their wines beaten by Chinese wine makers on first attempt. Featuring narration by Russel Crowe. With dazed Frenchmen in a state of shock and disbelief, after hours of previous ego stroking. |
My mistake. It is actually called Red Obsession http://galaxy3yrfbwlwo72q3v2wlyjinqr2vejgpkxb22ll5pcpuaxlnqjiid.onion/torrent/14393583/Red-Obsession-2013-1080p-Bluray-x265-AAC-MVGroup-org-mkv Or perhaps Sour Grapes http://galaxy3yrfbwlwo72q3v2wlyjinqr2vejgpkxb22ll5pcpuaxlnqjiid.onion/torrent/15468714/Sour-Grapes-2016-1 |
A quality period drama and a nice tribute to a woman who kicked the patriarchy's arse. |
Ah yeah, struggles of a daughter of millionaire father who married son of millionaire father. Can't imagine how she managed to survive after her husband's death. |
Why are you unwilling to celebrate her actual achievements? Why must you make up nonsense that has nothing whatsoever to do with this woman's life? You should be ashamed of yourself. |
Fear and bitterness mostly. My fellow males will often project their own failures and mistakes towards others in an attempt to hide their own insecurities. A single setback can be enough to make a man give up and no longer try to overcome an obstacle. Rather than learn from that mistake, and succeed, they mock others. |
OR... now hear me out... maybe... men run the world because we're bigger, stronger, faster, and more logical/rational than women? Im just guessing... next time your in danger call for a woman to come save you. See what happens. |
On first take of the poster thumbnail, I thought she was holding some sort of dead fish. |
I thought she was Amish/Mennonite/Omish wearing her husbands hat |
Perhaps men could struggle to overcome their own prejudices and fear of brightly coloured fabrics. It is an offer being held out to you. A chance to put aside insecurities. Take a step towards being at peace with yourself and no longer tremble in terror at a picture of a woman. Next, you might try polite conversation. |
guest 1035, how easily triggered are you? Nobody is rude and not all men share the same opinions yet here you go popping off hypersensitive passive aggressive nonsense. You come here insulting every male on the planet, for what? Who's insecure and scared here? People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. |
This was a cam a day or two ago, How is it available as web release? |
@Guest-3970 What imaginary achievement you're talking about? Do you really believe that rich daughter was doing anything herself on her father's winery other than putting her own name to the bottles? |
Men do not come from wealthy families. Instead they must struggle to overcome immense obstacles. Taking their first step. Learning to use the potty. Learning to use the potty. Still learning to use the potty. Struggling to fold a piece a cloth to clean the potty. |
Wine. From Bordeaux. A story of wine from Bordeaux and how it became the best wine in France. The most prestigious of wine and perhaps the best wine region in the world. |
