It's kind of like a mini story that fleshes out part of this "universe". It couldn't make up its mind about whether to be action/horror or drama. 6/10, but I only gave the first two 7/10's so... |

 | A Disappointing Sequel I had high hopes for "A Quiet Place: Day One" after enjoying the previous films, but this one was a complete letdown. The movie was boring and failed to deliver any real scares. The suspense that made the original so captivating was completely absent here. Instead, we got low-quality special effects that took me out of the experience more than once. The lead actress was dull and boring, lacking any real presence or charisma. Her performance was so flat that it made it hard to care about her character or the story. And what was the deal with the cat? It felt like a ridiculous addition that only served to make the movie feel stupid and disjointed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend "A Quiet Place: Day One" to anyone. It's a waste of time and doesn't live up to the standard set by its predecessors. Save your time and watch something else. --- |

| Really boring. Nothing to do against the first two movies. And you have no new clue about the invasion or the aliens. Lupita Nyongo is a great actress and seems to have lost weight for this movie. She is great but the plot is nothing, nothing but surviving. If you had a great time with "A quiet place" I and II do yourself a favor and pass on this one. |
