 | Won't bother watching because Jesus is a character of literary fiction, an amalgam of Jewish messianic figures over a long period of time. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls proved the "New Testament" is a carefully crafted work of fiction. The authorship of Christianity, a mix of revisionist Judaism & Greek paganism, was conceived by the Roman emperor Titus Flavius, who employed Jewish turncoats like Josephus Ben Mathias, the sometimes-Judaized Greco-Roman Herod tax-collector family (particularly Julia Berenice), and the Alexandrian family, all clients of Rome. The goal was to erase Jewish history, to pre-date Titus' genocide of Jews & leveling of Palestine by 40 years, and to have Vespasian Flavius named God and Titus Flavius named Son of God by the Roman Senate -- all of which happened. Titus' campaign included killing every scribe of Jewish history save for the turncoat Josephus, and nearly every Jewish religious text was destroyed. But they didn't count on those scrolls being buried in the rocks on the Dead Sea for 1900+ years before they were discovered. The Scrolls detailed a violent, militaristic opposition to Roman rule. Certainly not a "turn the other cheek" or "give unto Caesar what is Caesar's" mindset. A pity that millions of people today are still bowing to a roman dictator. Fools will be fools. Willingly oppressed. Enslaved in both mind and body. |

| Before it was called Christianity it was called the Galilean faith. Since Jesus and all his disciples were from Galilee(except Judas). Jesus was also born in Bethlehem, Galilee not Judea(just west of Nazareth). There are Roman texts that mention its popularity, specifically the period 300-360 years after Jesus death. |
