 | Excellent series... stays as much as possible to the book. Only mistake I discovered was one where they spoke of and visited Chester Arkansas. Well, since I lived about 6 miles from Chester for about 40 years, I knew immediately the area they were trying to show as Chester was in fact NOT Chester, but I imagine due to filming locations and budget constraints they were not going to go to Chester and film. They did show a highway sigh crossing the state line into Arkansas and that was 100% accurate and I even know what road they were on as I recognized the sign having driven by it countless times myself. But I've seen it in movies before, like Smokey and the Bandit, so I'm sure that one clip is stock footage somewhere. Still all in all a very good watch... I had to binge the entire series at one sitting it had me so hooked. |

 | thx for the great torrent :) only seen the pilot so far and enjoyed it much more than i expected but not as much as i hoped. the books by the the man behind the non-existent lee child, portrayed a character who rarely gets hit and takes next to no damage by getting his one or two swift and crushing hits in early, so poetic license for better tv. still miles better than the films with half-pint and their poor screenplays. good casting but has his head up all the time, reacher does not. tall so walks with a stoop to be less imposing until needed. small parts of his character. as the book series has now changed hands to a new writer, which was already growing stale for me during the last few books, i do hope this series can recapture my early liking for this brilliant character and has started well, so here's hoping :) |

| TBH they could have done the fight scenes swiftly, like the books, with a 'sherlock' approach by doing a short inner monologue and images of the internal damage he does when he hits, using a few 'matrix' ideas of slowing the scene for the monologue of thoughts as he calculates each next quick strike. just a thought. |

| Thumbs up for you Guest-1673. As a massive fan of the books I thought Tom acted the role well intellectually. But I couldn't get over the mini-me aspect. 10 mins in to the 1st episode and I'm already invested. |

| Its like Dexter meets Jason Bourne. This show sucks because its so freaking good and there is only 8 episodes and when you start it, it feels like you finish it too soon. How am I going to be able to wait another year for season two??!! UGH Yeah warning..don't start it if you have something else to do that day, you won't be leaving your tv because you will be hooked!! |

| finished it all and i gotta say, it was entertaining. they had him fight more than i would have liked, get hit more too and drink alot less coffee than his book character. i suspect that the reacher fans who blew up about tom making the movies will still be disgruntled as it still doesn't get close enough to the books character to fully visualise the portrayal on the page. its good, but not great. also, it has been awhile since i last read killing floor, and i may be wrong, but i don't remember neagley being in it. there was also a few references from the book 'bad luck and trouble' so i'm guessing that one will be the next series. a shame if it is as that was the first one i thought broke the character, as he lacked his usual no-nonsense consistency in that one. too insecure. either way, it is a good watch |
