| A/10 V/9 ... thanks for the upload.  Sorry, but this film leaves a lot to be desired. The acting is okay, but overdone much of the time, that is when they're actually doing what you can call "acting". While the 'influencer' subject matter is likely very pertinent to people under 30 let's say, it does nothing to bolster or enhance the entertainment value of this movie for older audiences. Younger people may relate and thus enjoy it. I didn't, but I'm a bit old school. Being older, I have very little tolerance for people who are so easily influenced to do things or buy products from social media influencers (there's a sucker born every minute still holds true) ... nearly as little tolerance as I have for the social media influencers themselves (Ninja Grills, all the Kardashians, and Flex Seal product hawkers come to mind). However, kudos to them for figuring out how to make money from screen-time zombies with credit cards, and the greedy corporate capitalists who are willing to pay them for duping the hypnotized viewing public with their faces glued to their phone screens. |
