Next plot: A floating cabin with some mysterious creature lurking underneath from dusk to dawn. |
@JustBollocks Don't give them ideas, they might eventually do that, lmfao. Thawne |
Next thing we know they have made "Sharks from Outer Space" |
Hayley Easton Street's "Something in the Water" offers a certain allure, yet it lacks any real depth. Despite efforts towards an unusual backstory and superficial character development, it fails to provide anything new within its genre. Street crafts intense shark encounters, focusing more on character reactions than graphic violence. Employing a bird's-eye view, she sets the stage for impending danger rather than tracking the shark underwater. While it's a passable watch, you may find it better suited to background noise. Notably, the soundtrack—Birdy's "Keep Your Head Up"—feels disjointed, although it oddly aligns with the movie's aesthetic and poster font color. And yes, there's no shortage of wide-open-mouth screaming - to nauseam. |
Thank you for your review. Refreshing to see an actual review of the movie instead the common hate posting about seeing black people or women on the screen. |
@Guest-1704: Where has anyone mentioned anything about black people or women here? They haven't, get a grip, there's no mention what so ever of ethnicity or peoples sex anywhere here, as usual your type desperate to create things that don't exist to fit your delusional agenda. |
@Guest-1511 What are you talking about? You are factually incorrect. justsomedude6x not far below your post is talking about the good old days when you could count on the blacks being the first to be killed in movies. He posted a day before you did. Did you miss it on purpose? |
Yes they did make it, it's called Jaws after a goldfish accidentally was exposed to radiation. |
Already happened. themoviedb.org/movie/1268092-killer-goldfish |
Okay attitude. You're right Killer Goldfish (2024) is "coming soon," according to the trailer. |
Yeah, well, that's 86 million minutes of your life you won't get back again But wait ... that's *reaches for pocket calculator* over 165 YEARS spent watching the ONE movie Do Earthlings even live that long |
Looks like another B movie with puppet sharks. Few micro bikinis would definitely convince me to watch it. |
Not so many years ago it would have been standard for the black girl to die first. Now, she probably saves all the others. In my younger days I would have watched this low budget mess just for the T&A. Now, not so much. |
But she could be a "Magic Negro" and could possibly die first, but only if the act saves the whites. |
How empty is your life that your comment history shows every 1 to 2 days you whine about seeing black people and women...? sad. Ben Shapiro makes movies for people like you that do not want to see black people or minorities on movie screens. Go and watch those. |
Absolute drivel, Boring as batshit and slow paced. The CG is not all that good and isnt scary at all. The tension is non existent and the main decision (SPOILER ALERT) to not use the life jacket to block up the hole in the boat and thus saving themselves is infuriating to watch. The performances were pretty decent but that is the only positive i could find in this |
Predictable comments, as expected. Movie is still watchable tho. Personally, I've watched it while having a hangover in the morning, drinking beer and cleaning my room. |
