Watched it. Bad Behavior is about moms finding babies, babies finding other babies, and babies finding mother figures. Yes, you understood correctly. Jennifer Connelly performs at her peak as a damaged and angry mother striving to achieve peace with her life. The movie is ambitious, it’s message begins to take form in the second act but subsequently falls in the third. There are moments of fun in between the misery but then we realize the misery is incredibly miserable and so inescapable that we just want it to stop. There are moments of grief, compassion, love but all these become overshadowed by the weak direction of the script. Maybe given a better backstory to the characters we could have more emotional attachment and care more. With a more seasoned director and more engaging script, the film could have been better. I can’t help but wonder if Jennifer Jason Leigh would have been a better fit for the lead role. The film has the perfect ratio of comedy and darkness that Leigh excels in. |
Thank you very much for your review. I appreciate that you took the time to do this for us. |
IGotYourDogMr@ I´ve watched it......I.......I............I´ve watched it !!! |
Jennifer Jason Leigh is killing it in Season 5 of Fargo. Thank you for the review. Thank you, Galaxy!! |
Great review and I appreciate all the time you spent putting it here for us who haven't got time, atm to watch this straight away. I'm going to watch it later as it sounds like I might enjoy it for something different to the usual stuff I watch. Thanks |
I watched Bad Behaviour & it was Bad. Actually it was worst than bad! As if a boring/annoying soap opera in bad taste... |
Did you know that there is no middle finger. You have 4 fingers & a thumb. So impossible to have a middle finger. Society has come up with is nonsense. |
Nothing wrong with admitting that. The only part I 100% understood was the chair part in the middle of the movie. |
We watched some of this but just got to ask - what is this movie about |
I just glad JC still has both her arms. Will watch this in celebration of that. |
reference to her co star Jared Leto in the film Requiem for a dream, who lost his arm (on screen only) after shooting up and catching an infection from it in the film. |
Guest-2360... thanks m8, for the reply. I remember now |
Actually, isn't this in reference to the Snowpiercer TV show?? |
yeah - could go either way, gangrene arm from requiem for a dream, or frozen arm from snowpiercer. only thing i know for sure: not a reference to losing an arm in lightsabre combat |
written plot on this page was enough for me to judge it as a bad film, and lo, it's at 4.6/10 on the old imdb |
Why does Jennifer Connelly never wear make up anymore?! For some reason over the past decade, it's like shes trying to look like a homeless woman in her movies. Beanies, ugly old sweaters. Whats going on! |
It's not the actress who decides what make up is used in a movie. It's not the actress who decides what costumes are worn in a movie. |
@mod, fair enough, unclear, but when i said 'wretched' i didn't mean as an insulting adjective but as a noun. connelly playing roles that have wretchedness. see? |
Looks boring, and though Connelly can sometimes act, she hasn't looked good in 20 years since she entered her anorexic phase (yes, really: she's not just "in shape/has a runner's body", something is deeply wrong, especially considering her natural body type/healthy weight, such as she was in her teens and 20's, was curvy even with low body fat). |
Yeah, the plot and a fossilized JC will make me say pass. She was top 5 all time when she was in her prime. |
Obviously you do not realise there is a difference between acting and physical appeal. |
@Guest-2826 I'm sure people would watch her early movies because of her acting. |
There are people who watch a movie for a story, for performance, for imagery. And then there are people who apparently are satisfied with a pretty face or a appealing body. I ask you: who is the movie lover? |
I just watched the trailer and too much drama and quite emotinal without a purpose, this movie is not for me. I must say that Jennifer Connelly & Gal Gadot are the gorgeous brunettes alive. P.S. Jennifer baby you're not over 40 :p but over 50 and still delicious hot, so you didn't have to lie your age in the trailer altho it was scripted honey. Thawne |
Bad Behaviour has Bad Reviews https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21221240/reviews Only 48% on Rotten Tomatoes which makes this movie a Rotten Tomato https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bad_behaviour |
You can trust a review from IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes about as much as you can trust that Jaxe has actually seen the movie he's commenting on, which is not at all. |
ohhh ssooo truueeee lol, lmao, pmsl 👏👍✔ |
I don't even bother checking Rotten Tomatoes these days but in the past I discovered that the best movies (in my opinion) was rated between 45% and 65%. Higher scores did not mean better movies. Anything 85% and up was usually woke trash that critics would be frightened to give a thumbs down to. |
Thank you for the up, Good title, describes a certain someone on here perfectly |
