So many questions I will never know the answer to because I am not downloading this woke piece of crap. In trying to satisfy everyone, they ended up making a mockery of these cultures by stereotyping them. Can't have April being a sexy white girl...nope nope nope. Lets make her a stereotyped black ghetto woman who looks and talks ghetto. Can't have a sensei who is serine and caring only about his students...Nope nope nope. Lets make him gay and well the opposite of Master Splinter. And lastly can't have a guy like Shredder and Casey Jones running around, way to violent and psychotic, we don't want to trigger anyone now. | You refer to the comics as "OG", which is an acronym for "Original Gangsta", but then get pissy when this movie has an urban feel with a 90's rap track. More than twice, Splinter refers to being attracted to girls. The post credits scene shows Shredder will be the baddie in the sequel. You're such a baby. |

| It is a sad day for me as a True TMNT fan of over 30 years to say that I will not be adding this rubbish to my extensive collection that spans from the very beginning. How can Rogen call himself a fan and then singlehandedly in one swoop mess it all up this bad..? The statement "It is the seventh theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and a reboot of the Turtles series."...Really This garbage is not worthy even of the acronym.

Here's the snowflake recap: April is no longer white and/or sexy and in early promotional material, Splinter's love interest Scumbag is portrayed as male, which would make Splinter gay. If, you know, they were people. Which they're not, since they're a mutant rat & cockroach. And in the movie, Scumbag is identified as a female, so this is all just a circle jerk by misogynistic basement dwellers with Trump flags as comfort blankets anyway. In other news, movie was pretty good and does a good job introducing the characters to a new generation. Watch it and make up your own mind, as opposed to the trolls in the thread. |

| why do people here keep saying that Splinter is gay in this movie?? he was NOT gay; his love interest at the end of the movie was a character named "Scumbug" who is female. also, i didn't mind the fresh new takes on certain characters. April O'Neil had a complete makeover and practically all of the turtles had a different personality than their original versions. it felt strange at first but as the movie went on it grew on me. i especially thought Ice Cube and Jackie Chan did a great job with their respective roles. there were quite a few moments in the movie that gave me a chuckle. all in all i found it to be pretty entertaining. definitely not as horrible as most people here would suggest. if you haven't seen it yet, just watch it and decide for yourself |
