What use did the protracted canon training ultimately achieve except for Nagakado's brief, brash attack for instance, or Buntaro's perceived sacrifice and his miraculous escape from near certain death, to name a few among multitudes of such. Pretty mediocre direction to a mega budgeted show, Id imagine.
