Hard to believe the magical show I discovered as a kid, late on a Sunday broadcast on PBS - Genesis of the Daleks, has turned into this. No thanks. |
I loved this show growing up and never missed an episode. I enjoyed the Paul McGann film; I know a lot of people didn't, but it was good to see Sylvester McCoy finally get to regenerate, and it wasn't too bad. I was thrilled when I learned that it was coming back with Christopher Eccleston, and yes, there have been good and bad stories since then, but there were good and bad stories since it started with William Hartnell too; but I enjoyed it and slowly warmed to each Doctor in turn (just like I did in the old days). But when I watched the 2003 Christmas Special "The Giggle" and cringed my way through the end as the regeneration took place I knew that, for me, it was over. |
Don't care if the Doctor is now black, what I want to know is if the rubbish writers and producers have been changed. |
hell naw i'm so glad i gave up this horrible show when they gender swapped the doctor for DEI and woke reasons, now this new dark and gay doctor literally goes around talking about how white people are mediocre and shit, i cant wait for things to swing the opposite direction again and we can exile these people from society. |
Don't care if he's black... gay is a bit odd given that in the past he's never really been anything... what bugs me is the absolute lazy writing. Stories are awful, sonic screwdriver does way too much, too many lucky coincidences, and just not SciFi anymore. Space sitcom for tweens. |
Every one of you who leans on that word "woke" to mean anything you don't like, you people weren't saying a thing when John Simm as "The Master" did a little music video in the middle of an episode, then hyper-aged the Doctor which somehow equated to shriveling his body (but not his head, apparently) and stuffing him into a bird cage. None of you said crap then, and you all clearly kept watching. Now you're ready to rage and label it all wokeness without even giving it a chance. Sure, it may end up sucking. And I really hope they don't do a musical episode. That trend needs to die. But stop trying to pretend that everything is part of some agenda simply because society continues to change and you hate change. Your arguments are all specious and every one of you spouts the same slogans like a cartoon zombie moaning for brains. At least start taking some vitamins and maybe get some of your memories back from BEFORE 2015. |
i have over 800 000 tv episodes 7000 plus movies, i was there in the 60s i have tried to be unbiased over the last few years. But i will for the first time in my life say i will not watch this Drivel |

Good quality download. Thanks. Content? Absolute trash. And never mind that, there's huge plot holes! Sad state of affairs. |
everyone complaining about X actor being color they don't like. the real madness is once again pirate bros don't know the point of consistent metadata. only the scene thinks this is S14. put a little effort in fellas. |
Who is this Show for? TRASH! This show turned into woke trash. It is barely recognizable now. |
Jeeezzeezzz, BBC and Britain is hit hard by the woke tsunami flushing shit all over the island. First episode babies and now a fat man acting as a woman.. I guess cooperation with Disney just made a perfect match |
This is name incorrectly and needs to be fixed. IT IS Doctor Who S01E02 (2024) NOT S14E02. TVDB is incorrect and refuses to fix it. TMDB, IMBD, AND the BBC all say this is a fresh series. https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/239770-doctor-who?language=en-US#:~:text=2024,-%E2%80%A2&text=8%20Episodes,space%20worlds%20and%20the%20sixties. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31433814/ https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-features/doctor-who-season-one-premieres-11th-may-2024 |
You are correct. This is technically a new show, and the BBC are treating it as such. On iPlayer, you have three sections for DW : Classic Who, Dr Who (2005), and Doctor Who (2024) |
Hahaha I watched the original when it was first broadcast. I think this is season 40. RTD can rename it all he likes, the fans won't call it that, it's just confusing. (They won't call it season 40 either though, they'll take the sensible middle ground). |
The TVDB can be remarkably stubborn on some things, officially they were waiting for the EIDR to make a listing which has now listed it as a fresh series. |
@CowGirl Well, we don't care what these woke morons say. It's S14Exx. Deal with it. |
