| Zack Snyder is the only person that can trigger unhinged liberals (that believe he's far-right) and Youtube grifters (Nerdrotic, Mauler, Critical Drinker, etc) that were butthurt because he hurt their fellow grifter (Geeks & Gamers) feelings when he didn't want to be associated with them, at once. It's a remarkable feat. That out of the way... It's a shame Netflix has gone this route with these movies forcing a PG-13 version and releasing that first instead of just allowing Snyder to do his Director's Cut to begin with. One one hand, it makes sense for them and it's worked brilliantly since they've now gotten two #1 movies (worldwide) for their efforts so they're ROI is insane. And the Director's cuts will likely get them another couple of #1 or at minimum many more views as well. But on the other hand, Snyder (by his own admission) wasn't happy and it's clearly the inferior versions so he's now being forced to watch the critics lambaste him even more than they normally would. Those idiots will never change their minds even when the superior Snyder Cuts come out and many millions less people will end up actually watching them so they won't experience his true vision and the much better movie. So Snyder gets screwed while Netflix gets everything they wanted. Granted, Snyder is getting paid ridiculous amounts of money but still, he's taken a deserved beating over this |
