A good quality Dune copy is already out barely a month after it came out in theatres but the earth will probably be consumed by the sun before I get to watch Godzilla: Minus One again, fml |
I have to wonder, is there ever going to be the possibility of an extended cut? Every scene feels and looks and sounds fantastic, but I feel SO much was missing. I could have sat through a 4 hour...fuck, 5 hour movie in the theater, pee break be damned. |
How is this the most popular version on here? This film deserves better! There are copies with FAR better audio and video bitrates... I'm guessing people don't read the technical stuff. Not surprising, I guess. |
Listen here kids, Lynch did not understand Dune and he butchered it. If you liked his movie, great, there are some really cool things in it, like the weirding modules, however #1 nothing to do with the books, #2 The only reason that the weirding modules exist is because Lynch couldn't figure out a decent way to show hand to hand combat, plus he was over budget cause he filmed like over 6 hrs of footage. Who are the fanboys now? |
Listen here, condescending turd. Even the books were stolen rewritten crap from Islamic culture. The AUTHOR didnt understand his own source material and just made up fantastical crap straight out his A hole. Lynch , seeing potential in its chaotic overbloated madness, saw an imaginative world with imaginative people. |
I agree, The problem with the weirding modules wasn't that they weren't cool, it was that they completely went against the spirit of the Dune universe, and in particular, against the whole concept of the "weirding way" from the books. This was just the Fremen's word for the powers of the Bene Gesserit, period. |
We get it Mr. Guest-4030, you just don't like Dune as a novel maybe you should read "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and let us know your intellect on that topic. |
Thanks so much for uploading. Least theres no woke garbage. Sand worm could a come out rainbow coloured... Irony |
Hi guys. I’m a newbie. I’m wondering how do y’all know the file is legit 4K and usually what’s the playback machine y’all use to feel the 5.1 channel. |
This movie is not yet available in 4k. However you can find 'legit' 4k movies here: https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrents.php?cat=3 |
Does this have hardcoded english subs for the none english parts ? |
FYI: found the subfiles for this file at https://subscene.com/subtitles/searchbytitle But, I think I am still going to wait for a bluray though. Thanks for the upload! |
As a sci-fi fan, I should be excited about this, but I feel nothing at all. Perhaps it's because I've read the books, seen the Lynch version, the TV version and Part 1. I'm all Duned-out. Also, Villeneuve's big-budget films are cold and uninvolving, as are the new actors. |
Feel the same was, for so much movie (2), there seems to be so much missing. So far, the Lynch film is the best version for me. |
I think both films have great thing about them which make them great sci-fi films overall. With that said both V & L took their liberties as directors and don't follow the books to the T. Still can't wait for part 3 |
