![]() | For a 2hr 45min movie the Video Quality is Outstanding for just a 2GB file. Thanks GalaxyRG.![]() |
![]() | Well that's the difference of x265 and x264, but I still avoid x265, because it is sometimes still too bitrate starved for a 27" monitor. |
![]() | Thanks for the upload! No complaints about stereo sound from me. As far as I'm concerned, this is the perfect release for mobile devices! Can't wait for the full 4K/1080p HDR release. Excuse my ignorance, but 10bit in the title can't be referring to 10bit color considering the 8bit source correct? Is it referring to audio or something else? |
![]() | This is a great movie. Saw it in the cinema and going to watch it again at home! ![]() |
![]() | The MB's that are saved with using 2-channel instead of 5.1-channel sound can go towards a higher video bitrate. That is fine with me. 2-channel is all I need as long as it's clear audio. Your not missing much with not having Surround Sound. It is another Gimmick to sell Suckas crap.![]() ![]() |
![]() | @ToeCutter Apparently you have never been in a home theater with a $5k audiophile system. There is a HUGE difference in the movie experience, especially action flicks, ie Terminator 2, Aliens, etc. |
![]() | @ToeCutter this isn't 1600MB version, there isn't such a thing as "MB's that can go towards a higher video bitrate" in this version. Also I prefer 5.1 cause one of the channels will have main voices and I can amplify this if need be. |
![]() | Sailor420: I'm glad you enjoy surround sound, but many of us don't. My main stereo system costs as much as most people spend on cars, and it's 2.1 (two studio monitors & a sub) & excels with movies. I also enjoy music/video on my desktop headphone setup ($8,000 as of now) which of course isn't surround sound! ![]() |
![]() | I have seen rich people spend $100K on a sound system. ![]() |
![]() | I bet Dune Part ll sounds killer with a 13.4.4 system!![]() |
![]() | Toe - We're not rich. ![]() ![]() |
![]() | Yep I hear ya. I am a Poor-Boy as well. I have heard good surround system but like a 2.1 system the best. I would never spend more than $2k on my Sound system cause I am Poor as well. Everybody likes something Different. To each his/her/it/them own.![]() |
![]() | Why not any eng 5.1 source available??? Can anyone enlightened me? |
![]() | I compared this to Dune.Part.Two.2024.1080p.WEB-DL.H.264.Dual.YG 6.74GB (Spanish), and quality is slightly better over there. |
![]() | Apparently the main SOURCE release is from Spanish country with the primary audio in Spanish 6ch. The YG encode is the only one 6ch audio, but it's Spanish. |
![]() | Well, this is x265, it's meant to have a lower bitrate using a better encoder, this smaller file size, and as close to AVC/H.264 quality as possible. Hopefully a 5.1 version will come out and a new GalaxyRG265 version will follow, anyway, for a nearly 3h movie I'd expect it to be bigger... |
![]() | first world problems: seeing it in cinema somewhat dulls the excitement of seeing it on torrent haha |
