Colm Meaney trying to sound American again, cant they leave him with his true Irish accent? I like this sort of moview usually, will give it a try. Thanks TG Yomanda |
they should have consulted real divers... you can't be far below 65 feet deep, and not stop for decompressions on the way back up.. otherwise you get the "Bends" a decompression sickness. what happens to you is the same example of what happens when you vigorously shake up a can of soda, you blood does the same thing, bubbles. yeah i know to the smart asses...that say, it's just a movie. |
" Characters from different backgrounds ..." read: we ticked the w0k3 esg boxes. |
Oh this is so bad. Starting with the contradiction, that a plane full of air, doesn't sink. |
Where does it say that the plane doesn't sink? It clearly shows them down in the ocean and THAT is where the air is running out. |
markajv... if the plane was full of air it would be difficult to sink. go put an inflated balloon in your bathtub and see how fast it sinks. there is probably an equation to figure out just how much water would need to get inside the plane to sink it but mostly the plane should just float around if it isnt filled up. |
killdozer the poster clearly shows the plane with holes from explosions, so it seems the only air to be had is between your ears. |
yall are stupid. a jet floating indefinitely after crash landing in water is extremely unlikely. it's happened, but even the amazing US1549 had its cargo doors ripped off. The jet will sink, but it's certainly possible for the cabin to trap a large air bubble. and the equation is just m/V>1000 kg/m^3, u no, density... |
@cowgirl : there just might be enough air there to keep a plane afloat, just saying.. |
JFC are we going to have a dispute about a fucking movie. If you watch the trailer. The plane crashes at like 200+ miles an hour into the ocean and it cracks open in many places causing it to sink and it rests on a precipice. There is an air pocket in the plane. That AIR is going away as people breathe. |
Yeah, nah... The amount of air is irrelevant, whether or not it sinks depends on the weight of the object (in this case the plane) and how much water it displaces... |
it takes a plane that has no bad damage to the fuselage about 45 mins to 1 hour to sink and thats if the fuel tanks were emptied before landing, however in most cases the wings come off or there are tears in the fuselage in that case no telling but better get out fast ... |
Planes are full of helium That's why they don't sink when they land on water |
Thank you GalaxyRG A/V was perfect Keep Up All The Good Upload You Do Sir |
I'm going to guess it takes 70 mins for the plane to fill with watter? |
I liked it. Stop griping, people. It was 90 minutes of escapism. I love a disaster/thriller, even if on a small scale (The Shallows is a very good example of this), but this I would give 6 out of 10. |
I've watched it yesterday thinking why not I love sharks and I didn't watch the trailer just saw the poster. OMG after 45mins watching this movie I gave up! The acting, the dialogues, even the sharks. Everyting is utterly terrible in this movie. This movie is a solid 1/10 and I wasted 45 mins of my life. >.>' Guys watch the classic JAWS 1975 and my favorite shark movie, also you can watch 47 Meters Down, 47 Meters Down uncaged and the 1st The MEG, since the sequel was pure comedy and of course my second favorite shark movie The Shallows 2016. which is a 10/10. No Way Up 2024 is a 0/10 Don't waste your time. Thawne |
I only watched The Shallows because I got a thing for Blake Lively! Plus she isn't a plane. |
The Reef (2010) is still the best shark movie since Jaws. |
I only watched The Shallows because I have a thing for Blake Lively in a wet bikini. |
Thawne your full of crap! you gave up after 45mins, you slag the movie here then give it 5 stars on the rating. At least be realistic one way or the other. |
@listen2me The rating is about the quality of the picture itself which is 5 stars, I rated the quality the movie sucks. Learn something b4 you post. @Guest-1695 The Reef was a good movie indeed altho I liked more The Shallows. Thawne |
The reef was a good movie! The worst shark movie of all time , IMO, was Open Water....and then they made a sequel...which I did not even go near after the first travesty of celluloid. |
@ killdozer - DUH! Sully landed a plane in the Hudson and it stayed afloat even with the doors open. And everyone survived. It did not sink. I know how science works. With your theory even if you popped the balloon, it would still float...it's made of plastic. (Yes Latex and Plastic are Petroleum based products) |
