| This movie is just sad... you can tell Ford really didn't wanna be there. The 1944 CGI de-age sequence and other scenes were hitting right smack into uncanny valley territory. Worse than the last 3 Star Wars movies. Story was just lame and all the callbacks from earlier movies were just insulting to fans of the series given how shitty it was overall. They get a single point for giving Shia Labeouf the poochy treatment cuz the crystal skull one still holds the title of shittiest out of the series. |

 | 15 y/ago I was in New Zealand trying to get a visa and struggling to make ends meet but I saved money to see Indy in the big screen. It turns out Crystal Skull was about aliens from dimensions between dimensions and I hated it. Going back I'd do it all again, but with low expectations. |

| Saw it yesterday in IMAX 2D. I give it 6 out of 10. Script needed polishing, editing needed to be tighter, there was some questionable content that don't belong in the movie, and the Phoebe Waller-Bridge woman is just out of place. She was no Karen Allen or Alison Doody and definitely no Cate Blanchett. Also compared to that awful Kate Capshaw in Temple of Doom, she made Kate looked good. Ford had a good run: 5 Indiana Jones films. He made his money. |
