REVIEW: I suggest reading a synopisis of this film first because the movie is a tv show within a tv show. The visuals are stunning. The camera moves laterally. It almost like a comic strip. The dialogue is unique, as are the eye movements of the players. The sarcasm drips. It's a witty and fun movie. I found myself watching it 2-3 times, enjoying more each time. I actually think I will buy this movie if there is a commentary attached to the purchase. It worth watching just for the directing. Wish I had the subtitles for this one. |
If you're a Wes Anderson fan, you'll get the movie and the acting is pretty good. If you're not, the movie we be like an onion: many layered and it stinks. |
I remember having a better CAM of Lion King than I had seats for my date and me at the same movie, those were them days :) |
Yeah the days when the groups took pride in their releases and have rules for was the pinnacle. |
Well i made a mistake clicking on the ad for a free year of HBOMAX.. yeah i got ripped off. |
just by seeing the screenshots you realize it's unwatchable, what a waiste |
The don't watch it. It's a common mistake that every offered movie should be especially offered for you. |
I like director Wes Anderson but I can't stand Jason Schwartzman. I also can't stand stupid annoying intrusive ads in a CAM. Remember when CAMs were good quality and had no ads? |
im watching cams since early 90'...cam were always shit,i thought its because of vhs technology but its not,its same now....but yeah ads are 2020+ idea,i dont care about ads |
"Remeber when cams were good quality?" NO and neither does anyone else. |
In 1980, less than 2 weeks after it's theatrical release worldwide, I had a copy of The Empire Strikes Back recorded using a video camera pointed and centered to the movie screen and to VHS tape. It was as good as a factory issued VHS movie. There was also no ads on it. |
The picture on the screen never was as clear as it is today. Camcorders never were as good as they are today. Your tolerance has shifted. That's all. |
Bull on recording as good as the factory release using a camcorder. |
Cams were never that good. Your story of a copy of The Empire Strikes Back being just as good as a factory release is bull. Never happened. The first camcorder didn't come out until 1983. At the time of the release, a VHS player was around $1000 ($3500 adj). No one was wasting time making a VHS recording of the movie. |
