Pulling out the popcorn, waiting for the inevitable comment flood. |
OMG it's like propaganda because like someone like made a show for my mother to watch with like all my aunts, sisters and friends! |
Men are so smart that they spend all day posting silly comments about TV shows instead of doing any work or inventing and making anything. If it was not for women driving trucks and doing all the work, no one would get any dinner, all the men would starve to death and get Pink Eye from dirty underpants. |
I haven't seen Eva since Desperate Housewives and the trailer looks ok so I will give this a go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpCqgonWyEc |
I agree watched the trailer and it look watchable. Something different |
You can hear them coming to cry because this is not a series about a white dude running shirtless. |
You really think that's what the people who call out obvious pandering and prioritize identity politics over character arcs and a good story want? |
Let me guess there is going to be some Women Hating Bashing going in here. Think about this: Without Women you wouldn't be alive today. We should support Women any chance we get. They should get Equal pay that men do in the workforce. I just don't understand it. |
Perhaps you guessed wrong but I hope you impressed whoever it was with your PeaCocking! |
Without Men you wouldn't be alive either. We shouldn't support anybody based on race or gender. The privileged treatment is whats causing the hate in the first place. F this movie regardless |
women do best in Muslim countries. we should support women following Sharia law. |
I'm glad I got some supporters here. I'm not against men. I'm just saying that I just don't understand all the hate against women. They should be treated as Equals to Men. I am a Man & I don't see myself as any better than anybody regardless of race or gender. I support Men as well as all races. We are all equal. |
Women do get equal pay for the same work, and have done for over 50 years. The gender pay gap does not exist. Do some actual research, don't just parrot what you see on your socials. |
The gender pay gap – the difference between the earnings of men and women – has barely closed in the United States in the past two decades. In 2022, American women typically earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by men. |
Stats. Overall, women are not paid as much as men, even when working full time and year round. On average, women working full time, year round are paid 83.7% of what men are paid. This inequity is even greater for Black and Hispanic women. |
An increasing number of states have passed salary range transparency laws to help level the playing field in negotiations and reduce gender gaps in hiring wages. It is paramount that more states take this step to help achieve better pay outcomes. Mar 14, 2024 |
To all the people commenting about 'woke' and other nonsense, this is a Spanish TV show featuring Eva Longoria, but it is made in Spain with spanish actors and Eva Longoria, yes . It seems many of you have nothing better to do than make foolish comments about everything. Go to work and spend time with your family; you need more of a social life |
Partially true only in a broad sense: When salaries for men and women are controlled for job title, experience, industry and hours worked, the gap nearly disappears. Pay scale, which tracks compensation information, found that the controlled gender pay gap is $.99 for every $1 a man makes. Partially true only in a broad sense: On average, women working full time, year round are paid 83.7% of male earnings. Follow your own advice: The gender pay gap does not exist. Do some actual research, don't just parrot what you see on your socials. Reality: The gender pay gap has diminished and disappeared in some fields. The ever increasing numbers of people employed in healthcare and retail however skew that towards a false conclusion that it has disappeared. Fields such as science, finance, tech and insurance have fairly large gender pay gaps when using the controlled gender model. Science has narrowed to about 25%, from nearly 65% in the 1970s. Tech has only narrowed slightly since the 1990s and if you adjust for the increase in female executives and the increase in pay and benefits they have received the gap for non-executive employees has slightly widened. Finance, hoh boy. Finance gender pay gap is insane. There's a very good Newsweek article on this from last year. Under the controlled model women typically earn far less. Someone will say "Commissions, duh." Nope. In financial institutions payroll records reviewed by Newsweek they found that women in the same company with identical positions, education, and experience to male counterparts not only earned smaller salaries (in companies and position where a base salary was paid). but also received smaller commissions for the same product. In 118 out of 267 records reviewed where the position was commission only women with larger total accounts than direct male counterparts earned less. In some cases the disparity was a difference of 20% on their commission rate. They only found 12 cases where the situation was reversed. Insurance would take fifty paragraphs to lay out. But, it's a real mess. What Newsweek did point out is that Financial and Insurance institutions are still very much considered the 'old boy' industries and many of the 'traditions' from 20 or even 50 years ago are still observed. |
Wow Great Job on the Research Guest-4080. I Salute you. Now it sounds like I am the 's . |
The world would collapse without women doing all the hard work |
A surrealist psychological horror film, I presume, and cautionary tale perhaps.. |
ToeCutter, you are obfuscating the truth about gender pay gap. When salaries for men and women are controlled for job title, experience, industry and hours worked, the gap nearly disappears. Payscale, which tracks compensation information, found that the controlled gender pay gap is $.99 for every $1 a man makes. |
Not sure why you are being negged for speaking the truth. I looked into this (government and established educational websites on this subject) and it is as mentioned, based on the different genders lifetime remunerations without taking into account other factors or hours actually worked |
Even when a woman is as qualified as a man for the same role, she is likely to be underpaid. When you look at all wage earners, the average woman is paid 78 cents per $1 paid to the average man. There is a significant gender wage gap at every level of education. Mar 12, 2024 |
Overall, women must complete one additional degree in order to be paid the same wages as a man with less education. |
