This is a totally non-biased non-spoiler review: "I like to experiment with relatively unknown or Indie movies because there is always a 50/50 chance you will encounter a hidden gem. There is also a higher chance you will waste your bloody time and attempt to bash your head on a desk. This movie surprisingly spared me that pain. It is obviously a silly concept and follows the overused path of other found footage-style movies, but it wasn't boring or yawn-inducing. It had a lot of engaging moments and the character chemistry is on-point, like really on point. Not so much with the horror bit though. Reminds me so much of Black Water Vampire |
Many thanks for a decent review. I'll give the movie a watch tonight. I loved the "attempt to bash your head on a desk", usually when I find a dreadful movie I get a sigh from my partner with "you've done it again, haven't you". |
Not buying the CRAP. From the screensghots and poster it's a HEAPING pile of |
@Cowgirl, this movie can teach you a lot of things, including how to be funny and just be generally a likeable person. You can take notes from the character 'Amy' in the movie who was my favourite. Learn to actually watch a movie before labelling it, or simply move on and save your comment |
@Anonyman Are you ALLOWED to comment if ur Only a Child?? You literally said "This movie can TEACH you how to be Funny & to be a Likeable person!?! Im NOT a new born baby & Im ALREADY Funny & Likeable. Something is VERY WRONG if u NEED to be taught by Movies how to be a REAL Person! WTH? |
Watch the movie then comment. If you learn something or not, doesn't care. Watch the movie, then comment. |
To be fair to actual life lessons, they come from actual life and not the fever dreams of some random author cum screenwriter; if one has to resort to movies teaching them then it is time to question what has one's life become, especially when they would balk at the same concept were it anime ... |
if there's a 50/50 chance that it's good, then how is there a higher chance that it's bad? |
Your reviews are the ONLY REASON!!!!! why I give movies (Unknown Indie) a chance. I'll give it a watch and see what's to it. Thanks 2 All!!!!! |
Finished watching just now. Thanks to uploader. This could be easily one of the worst movies I ever watched, even for a low budget. |
Very scary You can tell this is going to be 77 minutes of sheer terror |
Depends on how toked you are I s'pose |
98% of these comments are just rude and non-sensical. The only lesson you need to know if that when it comes to entertainment, in any form, is that its totally subjective. If one person likes it and another doesn't what drastic change does is make in each other's lives? Grow up. Enjoy life. Go outside and breath in that toxic environmental air. |
Just like the 3 stooges there are about 4 here that always have negative things to say led by Moe with a "J" followed closely by Darth Vader helmet and the wanna be influencer who signs his name to every post. This movie may be horrible or great/ rotten tomatoes has it at 100 percent and 70 percent audience liked/ you would never think that reading Curly ,Larry and Moe's review. Thanks to all who give "Quality" feedback either way and thanks to the uploaders as uploading is really a thankless hobby. |
Guest 3103, I disagree, You don't sound like someone who is funny & likeable. Stop hiding behind a guest account to post your rubbish comments. You sound more like the child here |
Mediocre effort. It had some Lovecraftian potential which just fizzled out into cheap jump scares. It also followed too many of the formulaic tropes for the found footage genre, not least of which is the driven yet dumb protagonist who gets his/her friends in dire doo-doo. Frustrating, because with the same low budget and some plot tweaks it would've been a lot better. But I guess you could say that about many movies that never quite make it. |
Such a heated discussion. Calm down guys. Soak your feet in ice water. It's just a movie, i.e. a collection of stills that give the illusion of motion. After this, I'd rather listen to Rare Bird song: and sympathy is what we need my friend, 'cause there's not enough love to go round. The vinyl days were the best. Ribbit, ribbit. |
Appreciate an actual review of a movie instead of a knee-jerk reaction to a title or screen shots. However Cap. Kirk your statement is illogical: if there is a fifty fifty chance that a film may be a hidden gem there cannot be a higher than fifty percent chance that it is a waste of bloody time. |
You are forgetting to take overlap into account where it is both a hidden gem and a waste of time. |
