When three childhood best friends pull a prank that goes wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble. Twenty years after creating this "friend", Dean, JT, and Wes (Zac Efron, Andrew Santino, and Jermaine Fowler) still use the nonexistent Ricky as a handy alibi for their immature behavior. When their spouses and partners get suspicious and demand to finally meet the fabled Mr. Stanicky, the guilty trio decide to hire washed-up actor and raunchy celebrity impersonator "Rock Hard" Rod (John Cena) to bring him to life. But when Rod takes his role of a lifetime too far, they begin to wish they'd never invented Ricky in the first place.

| Efron injured his jaw about four years ago when he was running through his house with socks on, he slipped while running and caught his face on the corner of a granite fountain. when he woke, his chin bone was “hanging off of his face." He took roids during recovery and they caused his masseters to overgrow. |

| It's a disaster. Humor fails, akin to juvenile scribblings, on toilet walls. The plot is unoriginal and the performances subpar. John Cena is most unlikable, when playing a 'fool.' The dialogue feels forced and awkward. Overall, this movie is a prime example of a failed production, with its derivative plot, poor acting, and characters failing to deliver substance. Why, well established actors would participate, beggars belief. |

| Failed comedy, bad jokes, terrible acting...best in the movie is Cena, and that's a really low bar to set. The black guy and the ginger guy should be banned for comedy. Feels like they filmed it in one week, kinda rushed with poor editing. Watched one hour and deleted it. |

| Overall enjoyable for a dumb comedy. There were some pretty funny moments. I think if this was made with a lesser cast, it would not work even remotely as well. Good for a one-time watch. Not sure who played the quiet friend with the long hair, but she was good in her role. |
