good lord, another another direct to dvd flick. It's starting to look like the bottom of the Wal Mart dvd bin! |
@Guest-3746 According to many physical media sites and youtubers, believe it or not, DVD sales are still in most cases, above blurays (1080p and 4k combined). I guess some people don't really care that much about picture quality or investing in new gear, they just want to watch a movie/series for the plot. |
WRONG! DVD's and BLU-RAY's are still a thing. People ask me to burn them a lot. Even a DVD picture looks better on a 4k tv than if you were watching TV in the 80's and OT 90's. |
Hey man....I've found some gems in that bin! (Though this ain't one of'em ) |
@Guest-3746 - I thought the same thing, who uses DVD's anymore? But ironically, past couple of times I have been at Walmart, I've seen families digging through the big DVD boxes out in the middle of the isle, for bargain prices between 4.99-14.99 each and they were buying them up like it was the new best thing to have. |
Hallmark? Any cover with guy and gal staring at each other on the cover and been there, seen that 1000x. |
BEST BUY stores will no longer sell DVDs and BluRays as of last month From October 2023: https://variety.com/2023/digital/news/best-buy-ending-dvd-blu-ray-disc-sales-1235754919/amp/ From last month: https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/18x06ae/according_to_reports_today_best_buy_has_begun/ |
That is because they are going out of business. Bankruptcy. So they slowly start to stop selling things. There are many other places to buy DVD's and Blu-Rays. Best buy is not the be all end all. In fact, I never shop there Their prices are outrageous. I kept my 2 Blu-ray players. Vinyl came back!! |
Lucy Hale has been in a few bad movies, but this one was enjoyable. |
