| Asante Blackk did a really good job in this, imo. I kind of suspected he would - he was fantastic in When They See Us and good, but squandered, in This Is Us. However, the real surprise to me was Luis Guzman. I always kind of thought of him as a goofy side character in most everything he's in. He definitely earned his paycheck in this role. Overall the movie was pretty good. Not perfect. Definitely not terrible. The writing was pretty tight without a lot of excessive social hand-wringing. I felt like some of the scenes had an overabundance of filtering that were a little distracting, but nothing that was a deal breaker. |
