It just 3 words into the IMDb synopsis to make this a hard pass for me "When his husband". |
1001 - It's worse than that; he/she/they can't even just not comment. I see plenty of movies/tv shows here that look awful to me, I, uh, just pass them over in silence. Why comment? Why try to upset others & on what they enjoy? How people can be just so mean-spirited & immature I'll never know. |
Lol, or welcome to the internet. Yea, I know, no babe in the woods here & I've been around since 4 chan was relatively new. But I'll never comprehend how so many people fail to ever reach normalcy, decency, & maturity. Anyway, best not to feed the trolls/bots, so I'm outta here. |
what makes you even sharing this ? jealousy they have balls not to hide and you don't ? |
My, my, someone upset the sheilas with their comment. |
Perhaps it is time to revisit my idea of having a gay alphabet movie section. Only the people interested in thoses movies would visit and then there wouldnt be any complaining about us not agreeing with your agenda. Case closed mystery solved scooby |
I agree with darcman. A separate section for the alphabet mafia would make it easier to find the content they want. If it helps to keep the phobes away from the comment section... win win |
Wanna bet it will NOT keeps the phobes away? They can easily skip this page as soon as they get it that this movie is going to shock their system, but they don't. Instead they make the effort to comment and reply continuously about their peeve. What makes you think they then will not? |
The movie is about dealing with the grief of a lost one. It just happens that the story is presented thru gay characters, the same storyline/situation would apply to hetero characters as well. If you're this hell bent against anything gay that you immediately flag it as "woke" or having an "agenda" , you'll miss out on a lot in the future and in life in general cose gay's have been around but silenced and they are just now beginning to get their own voice and representation so they're not going anywhere, so things are getting better with each generation and if you score another 30 ~ 50 years , you don't wanna miss out on the amazingness that's gonna come out by the creativity of people who are getting a voice and a platform. Besides , you have movies coming out depicting hetero couples on the daily , around the clock, from all the studios, why would you even focus on the odd one depicting gay couples when you have the rest of 99% of the media pandering to you ? |
maybe they should try speaking in a normal voice then. not constantly screaming about everything maybe? gays are a small percent of the population but are being forced into nearly every single thing now. its unnatural and undoing decades of what they originally fought for, to simply be treated the same. |
killdozer, it's been established that in the US alone, at least 7% of the population is LGBTQ+. Meaning that any movie reflecting reality is going to have about 7 LGBTQ+ characters in every 100; that's 3.5 in every 50, 1.75 in every 25, or about 1 of us in every 12. Simple math babes |
That is: only seven percent are confident enough to say they are. No doubt there are many more living in an environment where it will be held against you, is hazardous or even life threatening to openly admit you are not 'straight'. |
According to the screenhots, they forgot to mention he is also blind, as he has his eyes closed on every frame. |
You throw out whatever prepackaged line your masters tell you but, most real men find your practice to be detestestable. They have no desire to get poop on their schwanze. DADT worked pretty well. I think as the Biden economy slides off into the deep DADT will become popular again. MASA! |
@justomedude6x "detestestable" pff and are you paying their bills? stay in your lane |
justsomedude and the usuals, there are a huge number of “real men” enjoying anal sex with women; check the downloads on TGx for an idea. DADT has never worked for anyone (Log Cabin Republicans v. United States of America, 2004, and others). Your comment has no basis in evidence. |
Looks great, Dan Levy is awesome. It's sad that any movie that isn't exclusively focused on white cis-hetro white guy brings out an onslaught of idiots though. |
I suspect we are going to have a series of movies in the coming months and years centred around grief after sudden and unexpected death of loved ones as that seems to be a common trend in real life these days. |
Good grief! Another gay movie? I'm starting to feel I might need to be a closeted heterosexual the way things are going (at least in the movie and television industry). |
A movie with gay people in it, is not by definition a gay movie. Why does it bother you so much what the sexual preference of a fictional character is? Did you ever ask yourself? |
IMDb says this movie is gay, gay interest, gay relationship, gay couple |
Guest-1479: It also has 8 other keywords that don't have the word gay in it. Your comment demonstrates how a bunch of you are so triggered by anything gay it's ridiculous. This movie didn't sound like anything I wanted to watch but I didn't feel a desperate need to make sure you knew it. |
We're allowed to dislike and be annoyed by film details. If every second movie was centered around talking proboscis monkeys because Hollywood decided that we all need to accept their life views on talking monkeys, I'm sure many of us would start to strongly dislike talking monkeys (ps., dislike is not fear). |
omg god there are gays in the world, SO E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E is gay |
OK69, and others: Free-speech is a double-edged sword. You’re free to spout your opinions and agree with the likeminded, and people with a counterargument are free to express theirs. If more express an opposing point of view, or it seems to be more rational than yours, that is part of the democratic process. |
Well having watched it I can't say it was great but it was watchable. Lets all be less judgemental & less homophobic! |
My husband passed 2 months ago and I am seriously in need how to deal with my grieve. The tanatologist recommended this movie, so I will watch it to learn how to find peace. |
You had me at Dan Levy! Great idea for a movie (we need more movies about dealing with grief in general), and great cast. I hope it's good; RT rating isn't great. Thanks so much! |
How awesome to see more films that ignore false piety, and explore other points of view. Thanks for a great upload. Keep 'em coming! |
"his husband " Requires a woke lgbtxyz alert. And a hard pass from homophobic me. |
So in other words you need a... trigger warning? |
Levy nailed it in Schitt's Creek, but this one still gets a total pass. It cracks me up seeing the amount of w0k3'tards throwing themselves to the wolves to defend this one tho, lolollolol like so many others Your panic is real, and the amount of people rejecting your strange cultivation obsesssion is growing more and more and you're getting scared. enjoy |
Seems to me you haven't read any newspaper or seen any news reel in ages. The opposite is fact: acceptance that people have more choices than the ones church and your political leaning limit your world to. The internet makes you believe your bubble is the world, but it ain't. Hope this didn't ruin your day? |
