Watched it. Candy Cane Lane is a tiresome overstuffed film that relies too heavily on visuals and lackluster dialogue. While Murphy retains his signature facial expressions and quirky voice gestures reminiscent of Rasputia and Norbit, the movie doesn't come close to showcasing his real talents. The cast of supporting actors and animated Christmas people provide the bulk of the laughs. Ultimately the bland script provides little in the way of any real laughs. |
It was not copied, nor was AI used. It written by me, after I watched the movie. Best. |
There was a time when Eddie Murphy *was* funny like 30 years ago If this movie is anything to go by those days are long gone |
Stopped watching after 20 min. No chemistry. Wife got 0 personality. Interactions just are not interesting. |
All Eddie's movies were rated R up until the Klumps stuff, Trading Plces 48 Hours Beverly Hills Cop...All awesome.. |
Just downloading for Eddie Murphy and old times sake like beverly hills cop and Trading Places. Guess that was 30 years ago lol |
I swear, I cant even look at Eddie Murphy without laughing my ass off. Every line he delivers is funny. Some people are just born funny. Murphy is one of those dudes |
I think Im done with movies this Christmas. Time to ring up the ex. |
It's a kiddie/family Christmas flick & most of the dialogue was cringeworthy & not funny. |
Remember Granpa putting on a Eddie Murphy VHS tape and were in stitches before he had even got the cellophane wrapper of the cassette That's how funny Eddie Murphy used to be Fast-forward that VHS player to the present day and that tape would be going straight in the garbage That's how UNfunny Eddie Murphy is today |
