Really hope more SDR version can be upload as fast as HDR. Not everyone are watching with HDR TV or monitor |
I have a 4K HDR TV but I prefer SDR picture quality. HDR makes everything very dark in my opinion |
I have HDR TV but my PC doesn't support HDR (old) so I still can't run HDR content. Also doesn't HDR make everything super bright, not dark lol. |
No, actually static HDR darkens the entire image to make bright parts stand out. Only dynamic (with metadata) Dolby Vision/HDR10+ brightens selected parts without darkening everything else. |
HDR videos look darker than they should because right now most hardware supporting HDR are HDR 400 and its just marketing ! To be able to watch HDR content properly the hardware tv or monitor should at least have HDR 600 / 1000. Watch presentation videos of HDR 1000 or 1400 it's stunning ... but very expensive ! |
SDR is better I want rate resolution detail over brightness resolution. |
