Really? I thought it was average, especially coming from a director with as great a filmography as Rodriguez. I'm wondering if he's still capable of making movies as entertaining as 'From Dusk Till Dawn' or 'The Faculty'. |
Thank you GalaxyRG A/V was perfect Keep Up All The Good Upload You Do Sir |
Still waiting for the sequel (which is now confirmed as of 2023) if Jimmy can peel himself from making 30 Avatar movies to start pre-production on this and hand the lead reign to another director. |
If the powers to be want a $ spinner , then the director and producer need to be French, Korean, British or Japanese. There are so many who tow the line in Dollywood and make childish , stupid movies. The next movie has to step up and be great not mediocre. |
2 people who don't understand why movies have Black Bars and why movies with Black Bars are the only one that are showing the FULL picture that was captured on camera during filming. |
how is it the full picture when there's literally less picture on screen as it's partly covered by black bars. Make it make sense |
@jaxe - Reason why movie have black bars is irrelevant. Point is that they shouldn't be part of video stream but by generate by TV itself as tru black or be absent at ultrawide screen, and this release is letterbox from all side on that kind of screen. If anyone dont understand black bars, believe me, it's you. |
@Dezzyx, The black bars aren't covering anything-- movies are often filmed at different aspect ratios than our computer monitors, so the black bars fill the gap. (https://outdoormovieprojectors.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/letterbox-effect.png) |
The only way to resolve this issue is by stretching the video out until it fills the screen entirely-- except that pushes the sides of the video that used to fit off the screen. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WtIuVGZnWc&ab , notice how much is missing from each side) |
Yeah, we didn't pay for something that is unwatchable scene black bars render in to wideo stream make it letterbox from all sides. So for what was all that work, processing power and server time? Who win if free pirated stuff is unwatchable? |
@theharber first off thanks for the explanation, that makes sense! Still in a strictly literal sense there is still not picture on the entire screen |
i agree its probably going to kill the encoder if he removes the black bars or the black bars kidnapped his dog or something and forcing him to keep black borders |
