I love horror anthologies but i will check this movie only after a decent copy is released. For horror connoisseurs who want more of the same, Wild Tales https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3011894/ is excellent south american horror anthology. |
Absolutely agree. All of the directors involved are interesting, especially Mike Mendez (The Convent, The Gravedancers), who almost always entertains, even with the tiniest of budgets. |
I'm a huge horror buff and i've never even heard of that anthology. How did i miss this?! 2014, 8.1 on IMDB holding up?! THANK YOU, for the knowledge! Going to check this out, NOWish. |
A latino horror anthology.. from the trailer it seems to also be a comedy.. lets see where this goes, could be a new cult b movie |
k this movie was rather entertaining... came across more as a comedy 'horror'... too bad subs kept getting unfocussed A8 V6.5 |
I actually thought this was the "Ted Cruz" "George Santos" and "Marco Rubio" Documentary series. |
C'mon people, it is what it says in the poster and I just found it a bit odd. |
They hide behind their "Guest" monikers and go around voting people down, brother. They're just es! Don't let 'em get to ya. I voted you up, dude. They did it to me right above your post. Vote me up, too, to counter their childish ... no, excuse me, infantile behavior. |
It's all psychological really, Capt. D. They think they are getting over on others, but what is really going on is that they are poor, sad people with low self-esteem. And they try to make themselves feel better about themselves by trying to make others feel worse to match their own self-hatred. Feel sorry for them. |
Or maybe they didn't read the poster and thought I was just being disrespectful with latin people (When I'm actually 3rd generation Argentinian) But you are right, the system seems a bit open for anonymous abuse when the votes from users and guest have the same weight. |
... and I'm 1/2 Spanish. I have blonde hair and blue eyes, because I am also 1/2 German, but I am still as Hispanic as you can be. |
Funny you'd say that. My surname is German (great grandfather left Hamburg before 1900) and all relatives from my mother side came from Spain, so it's 50% as well. We could probably pass for relatives. Yet, 3 generations here is a long time, so I don't get a European passport if I needed it. |
I'm glad somebody got my Joke. Thanks tosgravely. I do what I can when I can when I'm able to do it. |
Interesting that Wrestling royalty Eddie Guerrero's daughter is in this... |
@Guest-9338 Sorry, not sure if your post was meant to be sarcasm, can't tell, no disrespect, but that's not his daughter. Although, the names are similar. Eddie's daughter's name is Shaul Marie Guerrero, not to be confused with the actress Gigi Saul Guerrero. I had to double check myself when I saw the last name haha. |
I know Hispanic are very religious. Many of them are devout Catholics (no birth control, no fornicating before marriage). But taking it to the Satanic Level, that's really having your cake and eat it too. |
Satan has only meaning when you're religious, i.e. catholic. That's where Satan originates, he's an integral part of the cake. |
you have an extremely shallow knowledge of Hispanic people...yet you say it out loud. |
I've spent years in Latin countries. The cultural interpretations of Catholicism can vary tremendously. One thing that is true: Over the last two decades, some of the best horror movies made have Spanish and Latino origins. |
@Duke7: one of my college roommate is Mexican. He is the youngest child and the 17th of his father and mother (only been married once to each other). After 40 years we are still friends and I am Godfather to many of his nieces and nephews (children by his 16 siblings). I have been to dozen of weddings in their family, |
@Duke7: even gone to church with them countless of times, to their children, grand children and great grand children first communions, to countless Quinceañera, and more Cinco De Mayo and other family events dinners and lunches and brunches than I can count. |
guest 2846, no...satan originates from the word HaSatan, which translates to enemy. If you're going to give explanation, at least know what you are talking about |
Numbers 22:22: "Balaam's departure aroused the wrath of Elohim, and the Angel of Yahweh stood in the road as a satan against him." |
Satan as we know Satan is a concept first mentioned in the Hebrew bible. Where the name comes from is irrelevant. |
