Already lking forward to the sequels, 'The Butcher' and 'The Candlestick Maker' |
Ron Perlman was in the Brit Broadcasting Corporation series 'The Capture' but that was riveting enough that even Perlman couldn't drag it down |
Another variation of Lone Wolf and Cub.... Entertaining fight/kill scenes for old ex military guy with intermittent single sided conversations with his mute grand daughter. didnt suck A7 V7 |
Perlman went downhill after Hellboy , believing that defecating on a restroom floor would 'get' at The Donald (pbuh) |
There's no way you can see a movie separate from a man's private life? There's more in a movie than just one man, you know. And even then, does the bread really taste bad when the baker votes on a different party than you do? Nine out of ten times you don't even know and the bread tastes okay. |
Definitely, he suffers from TDS, the man has completely lost his marbles. |
None of us cares at all, jaxe. In fact, we would love to hear less from you. Much less. Because you add nothing to the site, you post the same rehashed laments every day, no one likes your arrogance and everyone laughs at your ignorance. And we do take offense at your frequent racist, sexist and homophobe comments. About that we care. Guest or member alike, everyone has as much a right to be on this board as you and as much a right to say what's on their mind. And I'm very sorry that some moderators do not treat everyone equally but grant you privileges that no one else enjoys. That too is something ever more people take offense at. |
Sounds like " jaxe" is dancing around in your head, if his posts upset you that much don't read them. Smoke some weed, relax and enjoy the free movies. |
Pretty generic and tired plot. But I'll give anything with Ron Pearlman a chance. When he's good, he's good. But, i'll wait for a good copy to come out. |
Because you do not add anything to the conversation except negative comments. When people scroll down, its yet again a negative comment from you. Before the HISTORY OF VIOLENCE there were movies with the same general plot but the HISTORY OF VIOLENCE was a great movie. There will be great movies with the same plot in the future that will be worth watching. |
Sorry lazerbeams that aint how it works. I've read the retorts to Jaxe for ages, and the best one on here backs up her stuff with evidence. Not just books, or news, but research journals. That's not anyone's "opinion" it's based on solid fact. Reading her stuff was why I thought it was worth signing up... Perhaps Jaxe is highly intelligent and does some research that is all good but it does not justify all the hate filled and racist nonsense that he and the 3 amigos post. Dont listen to me . Just click on any members name and click user events and you will see numerous point deductions/suspensions and other infractions including racist comments. If you want to hate fine just keep it to yourself/ |
Ron Perlman is another one of those character actors who is a hit and miss in the projects he takes on. Obviously SOA was huge for him and led to some successful projects creating future opportunity like Hellboy, just have to do a quick search to see.....I wouldn't be so quick as others to dismiss him out of hand, he's consistently surprised me.. I will be waiting for a better version though! Thanks |
This is basically a "remix" of Pearlman's other co-staring film, "Drive" (2010) where a botched "business opportunity" leads to bigger trouble. Remember, he was a baker in that movie too; he owned the pizza shop. They even say the line in the pizza shop/ bakery, "I'll fix it," to which another villain asks, "How you gonna fix it?" It was in both movies. Like Gosling, Pearlman asks a child what they're father has done. Then Pearlman goes around town, visiting bad guys and exacting justice. Basically the same movie, but nowhere near as good! |
Neil Maskell does the same thing in his movies, reusing the same lines; one of his favorites is 'I am the big, bad wolf and I am going to gobble you up'. There is no excuse for lazy writing |
