Video 7ish audio 7ish _ me personally I'll wait for a better hcam just because it's animation (and I'm a grown adult who's been looking forward to my next Pixar fix) |
Difference between c1nem4-SUNSCREEN releases and c1nem4 releases? |
SUNSCREEN releases are basically C1NEM4 released compressed down to 1000 megabytes |
We are only a few more stinkers before Disney gets their act together were still having to digest the trash that was filmed or produced while under the insane idea that going woke will not in fact make you go broke but I honestly believe that Disney after having film after film underperform at the box office will realize that race swapping characters so appeal to 1 tenth of the population is not necessarily going to increase ticket sales. |
"Getting their act together" is your way of phrasing "giving in to your demands"? |
spot on,sick and tired of disney trying to force feed their woke bullshit on people,i used to download and watch my disney stuff but always bought them on 4k then for my collection,my collection has now stopped a few films ago, stick to films, leave their woke agenda out of it, |
Well then don't watch. What's your problem? No one is forcing you. Disney is not force feeding anything. Just don't watch. You know what is forced? All of you pushing that very same anti-Disney, anti-woke narrative again and again. Didn't make sense the first time, still doesn't. |
This slots whatever crap on the screen 100% of the time. Better to just wait for a clean upload that's not polluted like this one. |
Agreed ... Disney's "WOKE"ness destroyed PIXAR! That's okay, though, Disney is starting to feel it; they are losing millions of dollars now, as people are finally getting sick of these agendas being forced upon them, and they are taking a stand! |
You are, people aren't. Disney has had tough periods long before you ever heard of the word "woke". People like you have carried the company to an untimely grave so many times for all kinds of different reasons. Your current fallacy is "woke", which for people like you means anything you don't like. |
Anxious to screen before I share with my child. Curious to see what the fuss is about before I make a judgement. However, my only issue with Disney is their lack of business acumen and their disregard of their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders. Makes no sense to alienate the majority of their shareholders and customer base to appease a small minority of the population that may or may not every have children that will support their business model. |
Do they make profit? Then you do know why they keep doing this. |
Guest-4060, they are not making profit lately. Eternals bombed, Shang Chi bombed, Lightyear bombed, Elementals bombed, Willow (and a number of TV series) bombed, Quantumania bombed, and Indy 5 seems to be going in the same direction. There is clearly a downward trend. |
Not making as much profit as hoped for is not not making profit. These movies make more money than only in the cinema. Television rights, merchandise, derived comics, etc.. Your wishful thinking is wishful and no more than that. If they lost money on them, they had long ago quit making movies. |
This movie has now officially flopped. https://www.avclub.com/disney-pixar-elemental-what-went-wrong-1850558379 https://www.ft.com/content/b50259e7-67d1-44ae-a749-636139cc5855 Disney have had 5 flops (Turning Red, Strange Worlds, Lightyear, Mulan and Elemental) in the past 12 months totaling almost $1 billion in lost production costs, lost marketing costs, and lost ticket sales. |
Wrong. These movies will keep making money for years to come. Profit does not just come from the cinema ticket. Quite odd to learn that a person who claims to know so much about the movie industry, knows so very little about it. |
@Guest-2396: I see you don't understand how "Hollywood Accounting" works. |
Oh, but I do. You clearly don't know anything about marketing products. |
Turning Red wasn't terrible, it just wasn't Pixar-level good. Everything after that though was genuinely forgettable, and forgot you need a compelling story. Bring back writers and directors who know how to craft a story. |
Yet another woke POS production that will lose the company $millions but that ESG score is looking great! I get it, this has been an active den of leftys so dv me all you want but society is stirring and letting it be known they do not want LGBTXYZ shoved in their face at every turn. |
When will you realise that who you call "lefties" and "LGBTQYZ" are part of the very same society you think you can dictate what they should watch, think and do. Sorry dude, ain't gonna happen. |
PIXAR was great until Disney took them over in 2006. I will not watch anything PIXAR by Disney. |
Who needs Disney-Pixar The non-Disney owned Dreamworks still make cartoons... er animations |
