Ha, the cavalry is mobilised again? Thirteen upvotes for a comment that says literally nothing? |
No Spanks for this! Plot: Anything’s possible is a delightfully modern gen z coming of age story that follows Kelsa... sorry I stopped reading with the "modern gen z" wtf is wrong with movies nowadays... well go broke go woke! Dear lord give me the strength. |
I agree. It's called Social Engineering. Hollywood has been attempting for some time now. The good thing is, you can fool some, some of the time, but you can't full us all, all the time... Look at Florida take and it's actions, and it's beginning to spread... |
"Kelsa, a confident high school girl who is trans..." Yeah, I'm bowing out of this shitstorm early. |
The propaganda in media isn't even subtle anymore. Glorifying mental illness is the opposite of what we should be doing. With that said, I do think trans people exist and should, but targeting impressionable children, that tend to do things just because they are popular, is dangerous. |
What "propaganda in media"? Showing all kinds of relationships, sexuality and gender identity in a movie is not propaganda. What I read on this page is: "mental illness", "woke". Neither has anything to do with a movie about a transgender, but you had to voice your irrational disgust: THAT is propaganda. |
As far as 'glorifying' Guest-1119, it just means to make something seem more glorious or excellent than is actually the case. This film is the definition of that, its a fairy tale of high school romance just outside the realm of reality. |
'Propaganda' is a mode of communication used to influence opinions or to support a particular belief or cause. Did you even watch Guest-1845? Because 15 minutes into the film, the protagonist says "I'm worried about people only pretending to like me, because they wanna be 'woke' or something"...& Concern not 'disgust'. |
"impressionable children, that tend to do things just because they are popular, is dangerous" That doesn't explain why y'all "glorify" Fast & Furious, all Marvel & DC crap, every single cartoon ever on tv, and so on, does it? You're all damn hypocrites and use your own kids as a shield to sell your crap. |
Concern about what, 3025? That'll rub off on you? That you'll come out the theatre and run straight to the surgeon to ask for a sex change? Or that your kids might? And how does your quote support the 'propaganda'-claim? Not at all. But how do you fail to see that your lot is trying to influence the rest of us? |
It is once more telling that no one, and i mean NO ONE, fell over the words: “Well you do know that the first love poems were written muslims.” In the film I can understand that no one objected to such a blatant lie. I mean, when you think that: “I grab a bite to eat, my shoes are on my feet” is poetry (obviously confusing rhyming with poetry), I don’t expect anything anymore. Just to be clear, there are thousands of love poems written (and preserved) well over a thousand years before Islam was even invented. No one reads, obviously, certainly not poetry. And if you read, you haven’t watched the movie, obviously. It’s all just about spilling your pet peeves, isn’t it? The movie is just the catalyst, isn’t. Well, not even the movie, but the cover, the screenshots or the plot. There are fora for that, where you can be just as anonymous. Please use them for your advocacy. |
Subtitles in 28 languages?! I wish any production of Hamlet had a quarter as many. And when's the last time someone translated King Lear to Kannada or Malayalam? The trans propaganda unit is working overtime to spread the word. They are diligent, I'll give them that! |
No, most Netflix and Amazon rips come with a long list of subtitles. Don't pretend you don't know. |
If only you would know how to use the "reply" button… |
@Guest-3560 I'm sure if that made omhdjany sense whatsoever she might even spare you a thought. |
Oh this is hilarious This was my wife trying to be all Mamma Lion You have to find the [Reply] button babes, and stay off my laptop And nah, behold the f@({s I give for people like that... |
So, let us get this 'straight', is the, is it a 'chick'? on the left of the poster in trans ? or is it cis like when in chemistry class Holy Christ ' have Mercy all this trans/cis is all so confusing and brain-damaging Oh, for when we lived in simpler times You really have to feel sorry for the kids of today growing up and trying to make sense of what fully-grown adults haven't even the mental capacity to comprehend |
Kids are more down with all of this than you think. It's the adults who have problems with this and all for the wrong reasons. |
Meawhile, the undiagnosed mentally ill are running the internet especially on YouTube, TikTok, IG, and Twitch. |
So, unlike most that'll post on this page, I actually watched the movie. Audio/video is as good as it gets, thank you GalaxyRG for another excellent effort The movie? OK, the first three minutes contains wayyyy too much teeny screaming for me, and who the hell can get through a day with nails that long? Also, any talk about humans and the animal kingdom by non-biologists pi5535 me off to start with. Overall, the movie is too much like High School Musical without the music, and a load of heavy-handed teen angst and love drama thrown in. Also, a lot of this movie is told through text messages onscreen... that's a big irritation for me. Basically, it's a teen love drama. Perfectly ordinary teen emotions, and a teen love story. Anybody over the age of 16 should avoid this like the plague, but any fans of the aforementioned High School Musical (not me, even as a teenager) will probably love it. Thank you GalaxyRG for another great upload |
Thanks for the warning, and the unbiased and review uncolored by peoples obvious phobias and prejudice. I'll be giving this a miss because I am way to old for teen drama lol |
Yeah, it was a "Great Upload" -- a nice share, in great quality, which is what this site is about... mostly. Thanks again GalaxyRG Just not a great movie, but there aren't too many of those floating about these days; rather like intelligent comments. |
Got it The 'chick' on the left is a guy in a skirt and the 'guy' on the right is a chick in pants Confused? You will be after this week's episode of 'Anything's Possible' *with special spanks to 'Soap' |
Thank you demonstrating the average age of the mods around here. Soap they remember, but I made a reference to South Park recently, got deleted — they didn't get it at all. |
Mrs. Doubtfire, Tomboy, White Chicks, The Danish Girl, Tootsie, True History Of The Kelly Gang, Big Mommas, Some Like It Hot, Yentl, The Bird Cage, Mulan, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Psycho, The World According To Garp, Victor Victoria, Desert Queen, She's the Man,, The Breadwinner, Paper Moon, Love in the Moonlight, The Challengers. Just a few movies with gender switching (dress- or otherwise) no one objected against. It's sooo trendy to raise your voice just for the sake of raising your voice. |
Nobody objected because back then, it was NOT shoved down our throats. Most people knew the difference between fantasy and reality. Anyway, thanks for the gaslighting. |
In fact, those movies were mostly worse: people pretending to be of a different sex in order to get their way. Fraud, in other words. Transgenders don't pretend to be someone else, they go through great length to finally be who they actually are. They don't shove anything down your throat, you're not watching it. |
Exactly! These people aren't watching the movie anyhow, so what is that nonsense about "shoving down their throats"? The only thing that is getting shoved down someone's throat is their bigotry down ours. So damn few mirrors seem to be working nowadays. |
NONE of those movies were about or had anything to do with transgender or deviant sexual identity, none were made or produced with the intention of advocating a deviant lifestyle - the character referred to in Rocky Horror was not transgendered he was a transvestite, completely different. and seriously Mrs Doubtfire? |
"... deviant sexual identity... ?" What a completely ill-informed and asinine phrase to use. There is nothing "deviant" about any of the kids portrayed in this movie. It's a teenage love story, lots of teen melodrama thrown in, watch the movie (poor as it is), beginning to end, then comment from an informed position. |
@SilentReaper: it says "dress- or otherwise", not "strictly transgender". As Guest-2953 says these movies are even worse, because they use cross dressing to trick, to deceive other people. If wilfully misleading people is not "deviant", I don't know what is. Or better yet: you don't know what deviant is. |
Guest-2787 wrote: "avatar Thank you demonstrating the average age of the mods around here. Southpark came out in 1997. Anyway, the Woke brigade love this "production". Let's see if the US reverses their initial decision on same sex marriages. If they do, it'll be interesting to see what will happen to all those who self-identify as Trans? Perhaps they'll self identify as a cat? |
Take a slow walk in the park. It'll do you good. |
Cmon Jaxe i wouldve thought this would be a movie that was right up your............alley! |
These type movies should not be shared. Now, the mental patients are running the ward... |
