 | Unless it is a frame per frame reshoot of the first movie, every adaption of the book is an original. Any idea how often e.g. Jane Austen novels have been scripted? Question is: is a Stephen King novel worth a reboot? No, the story is known by anyone interested and there is no deeper layer that could be explored. |

 | never saw the Firestarter (1984) or Firestarter 2: Rekindled (2002) (TV Mini Series) much less Firestarter (2020) so i have no base to compare but i like te effects and the tematic so its good for me like the finale too. but the best part of the movie is the BURNING of curse |
