This is a virtually shot for shot remake, but the same director and producer, of a movie that came out a couple of eyars ago, with a different cast, and a slightly larger budget. |
Ummm Are you thinking of Stephen King's "The Tall Grass"? or maybe "Children of the Corn 1 though 42"? |
Yep in reply to Makajv i AM thinking Stephen Kings "In The Tall Grass" |
What happened to the website? The pages load as slow as molasses. The Dark Theme doesn't work, and there are no cover pics anymore. If this is "optimizing," it didn't work. Do the moderators know how bad this site is running now that they did what they did? |
I like Smallvilles cornfield and field of dreams corn better more friendly |
Audio 9 | Video 8 Imagine escape room plus a gigantic cornfield plus that tall grass movie and you can get a decent picture of what this flick is comprised of. Acting is mediocre, production value is slightly above average, and the little puzzles and questions lingering in your mind throughout will keep you entertained at least. There is a reason why they can't simply escape the field, although it is fun to think of people actually being stuck in a regular cornfield, it's not as simple as it normally would be THANK YOU for the UP!! A real review, with much love, to the guests |
there is more heavy breathing and moaning in there then a porn video..... |
It is not possible to get lost in a cornfield. Cornfield are generally no more than one mile square. You pick one row and keep following it, you will end up at the end and outside of it. |
yes, and still, cornfields have been at the spotlight in many popular sci-fi, horror and even romantic films. |
You've never been to Walmart. LOL |
Ever seen a movie with a logical script, jaxe? No wait, you never watch any movies, only criticise them. |
Its called suspension of disbelief...you know that thing your mind does when going into any film ever made and you learn at about 10 years old, plus its done like the Wilds or other movies where people wake up somewhere they dont know how they got there. I mean the matrix and marvel, total suspension of disbelief |
Let's just change the movie title to "people who are too dumb to walk in a straight line" |
Why do people in horrors always flee to the one place they can never escape from (closet, attic, cellar)? Very few movies make sense, tat's why it's entertainment, fiction. Jeez man, watch or shut up. |
@Guest-1436: they seem to ALWAYS run UPSTAIRS instead of RUN OUTSIDE OUT of the House/Building. |
No need to shout, dude. Isn't that exactly what Guest-1436 says: they run to where there's no escape possible? Point is: horror movies never make any sense, so don't make such stupid comments. |
Why does the hero never remove the weapon from the villain he thinks he has disabled? Why does a group of villains always attack the hero one by one, never coordinated as a group? How does the hero always know how a computer system and program works when he has never seen it before? No script ever makes sense. |
