 | Howdy peeps  Just finished it and wanted to add a few brief comments: this flick has a made-for-TV, Hallmark-ish vibe to it - but there's enough drama and suspense to keep you from fast-forwarding. And the ice road FX were pretty cool. The plot is simple and predictable (with one twist) and although it felt a bit drawn out toward the end, it's not a bad way to spend a Friday night if you dig 18 wheelers and snowy vistas. A/V is excellent, as usual. Runtime is 1 hour and 45 minutes. Rating the movie 7/10. Thanks, GalaxyRG. 🥂 Next up in the queue: Lansky |

| @ Ozrokks G'day m8 The corporate execs were cheating by not monitoring methane gas emissions, and paid the miners $100 a month to look the other way. When the mine exploded and collapsed, they were hoping that the miners would die - so there wouldn't be any witnesses to their evil deed. Hence the plot to sabotage the rescue mission. Not the most original story, but like you said, the truck action on the ice made it watchable. And Liam lives to fight another day.  |

| @ Guest-2654 It is not a Jimmy Bond movie  Were you expecting some over-the-top Blofeld or some guy with huge shark-like teeth to be playing the villain? I would say that some wimpy-looking, quiet-spoken low-key manager type who looked as if he couldn't open a potato chip packet was a more realistic villain - in the real world it is these kind of guys (and gals) you have to keep an eye on  |
