Some apps/tv can decode only mp4 or mkv DV files whilst some can decode both. My 2020 Sony can only decode mp4 DV files, so this will only show up as HDR10.

You just have to extract/obtain the srt as a .srt file with the same name as the .mp4.

Arcticbox, I think he/she meant the DV in mp4 container. Some TVs like Sony only accept mp4 Dolby vision files.
