 | Good, a query...I am downloading files in mkv format that bring inside both HDR10 and Dolby Vision or so it seems...the native player of my tv (tcl 715) opens it in Hdr and with that format the tv has problems, when I open it with JustVideoPlayer it opens it in Dolby...can you choose which codec to play or something like that? do the programs solve it according to their own criteria? if someone could answer me the doubt...thank you very much! |

 | Some apps/tv can decode only mp4 or mkv DV files whilst some can decode both. My 2020 Sony can only decode mp4 DV files, so this will only show up as HDR10. |

| To prevent such problems I purchased a proper high speed HDMI cable, 10 meters long that runs from my pc to my tv and updated the codecs on the pc, never a problem no matter what file type I download. |

 | Try looking for a converter mkv to mp4. Or connect a laptop to the TV and play it with VLC. That should solve the problem. |
