Apparently you have no clue about Display aspect ratio. Black bars NEVER should be PART OF VIDEO STREAM, they should be created by video player based on aspect ratio of screen that shows a video stream. Cropping video stream is standard.

Nope they aren't. Black bars are never "normal" or part of movie. They should be cropped and let movie player to create bars by itself and on the basis od aspect ratio of screen.

Someone doesn't understand how movies are projected on screen. Black Bars should be removed to keep correct aspect ratio and resolution on different aspect ratio screens. Its standard and RARBG and PSA gets that from day one.
