It shouldn't actually make any difference for viewing or player support. The one thing it has going for it is the ability to play in a browser, unlike mkv. Wasn't my choice though, I'm just uploading for the person who encoded it.

Using 10-bit encoding instead of 8-bit can yield a cleaner image with less banding artifacts for the same bitrate. The source video doesn't have to be 10-bit for this to be true.

I have no plans to encode Better Call Saul S06. Its seasons 1-5 and Breaking Bad AV1 are WEB-DLs and so were encoded by Netflix. Season 6 does not have a WEB-DL, so you'll probably have to wait for someone to encode it from Blu-ray.
