| Apparently the budget is a mind blowing $1 Billion Dollars, beggars belief why you would want to do that for a tv series, IMO a 3 part movie version of the Silmarillion would have been a better idea? dunno what you guys and gals think? | |

| Well, IMO i'm hyped for this one because TV shows aren't enjoyable for me anymore but when I heard that Amazon is making LOFR and giving it over 1 billion budget, I was sooo happy and hyped because as a kid I love watching all LOFR movies! | |

| Please, no more Gollum. The Lord of the Rings left out a lot of stuff from the books. For example, the Shire came out of the Trilogy unscathed. In the books it had a different fate. | |

| I'm quite enjoying the series but the really awful music does my head in. Then I decided to find out who did the background music and the name Bear McCreary turned up. I looked up his musical history and bingo. I hated the background music in all of the shows he worked on. Clothes maketh the man, scream it loud and clear "music makes the movie/series". | |
