Saw the trailer for season 2 while messing around on Netflix.

Is this worth watching?

I hate it when I find a new show and discover I am already a season or two behind.

I didn't know about Stranger Things until I saw the preview for season 3:

I had to binge watch season 1 and 2 before I could watch season 3.

From the trailer it looks very slow.

Recent shows I found on Netflix I also had to catch up on previous seasons before I could watch the latest season:
