Do u have to manually make it by watching the show and adding words to a program that creates them? or is there an easier way

There are many sites that provide subtitle files, subscene.com for example.

Good question and something I've never really thought about so i googled and found a simple answer but way to time consuming for a lazy person like myself (not that i need any either) :D http://help.elucidat.com/editing-pages/video-and-audio/subtitles

My preferred tool to this job is.  https://www.nikse.dk/subtitleedit/

Takes a lot of time to make subtitles from scratch. Its much easier to translate another (e.g. english) into (or try finding) a subtitle in one's native tongue imho :)
