I CONFESS!!

I was one of those people who camped out outside a (COMPUSA) to be the first to get a copy of Windows 98.

Windows 98 turn out to be trash until Windows 98 Second Edition in 1999 which was slightly more stable.

You will be typing a Word document using your Windows 98 computer and BOOM,

A lot of time the computer will be frozen and locked up.

Even pressing CTRL ALT DEL like it says on the BOSD, it DID NOTHING.

Then those error messages, there was no where to look them up to see what they mean.

So you never know what was wrong, broken, not working correctly and you had no way to fix it.

Just reboot the computer and hope you will be able to get something done before you see the BOSD again!

I remember W98 coming out, but my primary PC at that time was a RISC PC (successor to the BBC Micros).
