| I've been puzzled for a while as to why this series is so erratic. One minute it is a great episode then really poor ones. Going back over the series to date I became aware of the fact that there were different directors for each episode. 01-Jon Favreau (very good episode) , 02-Peyton Reed, 03-Bryce Dallas Howard, 04-Carl Weathers, 05-David Filoni (not too bad), 06-Robert Rodriguez (excellent episode) . It also explains why the background music is hit and miss. Anyone else noticed the variations in the quality of the series. | |

| I don't think it has anything to do with it being erratic as such, I think having different directors lends an edge to the series. Remember, the star wars universe is a mind boggling expanse of untouched creativity that sometimes just needs tapped to see what ideas writers producers and ultimately directors can conjure up. A boring episode to some may be exciting to others, I can't say there's been a bad episode of the mandalorian yet that I can think of..... Can't get enough of it to be honest, my only gripe is the episodes are to short... May the force be with you | |
