Thanks I been waiting for this one. It's basically My Cab Ride With Andre. |
Sounds like an $800 cab ride, by the premature comments so far nobody came back to say it was a great movie. |
Of those who watched, 70% liked. Those who didn't, think it's stupid. 90 min in a cab? Snore! BUT great writing and acting triumphs! So yeah, it really IS a good movie. (Still, check the reviews.) |
The movie is ok. It's not as profound or revealing or emotional as the creators seem to think it is. |
Well, this might be an unpopular comment. But I watched and enjoyed the movie and it held my attention end to end without feeling the need to fast forward past any parts. But I suspect, I might have approached the film and experience from a more open minded position. I was sceptical at first about how a short ride from JFK to Midtown could be dragged out for an hour and 39 minutes. But I was at no point tempted to check the time. Maybe not a great film, but I believe Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson turned in excellent performances! |
Suprisingly entertaining, has a deeper meaning than most of the garbage coming out these days. Well directed as well. |
For a film that takes place during a single cab ride, this is surprisingly engaging. |
magnificent movie! enjoyed it a lot! simple chill and philosophical, everything I need |
If you liked My Diner with Andre you should check out Sex Blood and the Phenomenology of Pretense on U tube. It's a play but man . . . you hardly care. On SkyRiver1 channel. |
