Have never felt such a fear of dread watching a a can of tomato soup boiling on a stove |
I wonder if one member will say the movie would have been better if there was a lesbian in it. The movie is over 90 minutes long so thats one plus. Ya this might just be one of those creepy hidden gems. THANKS!! |
Well this wasnt a hidden gem. I was worried if this just takes place in a trailer, it could be pretty boring. Ya it was kinda boring and somewhat creepy, but a whole bunch could have been edited out. The ending was stupid. I am going to give this 4.7/10 Give it a go, you may like it. |
I didn't make it through... fell asleep twice before the 40 minute mark. What I saw barely raised itself to creepy. I have creepier neighbours... of course, I may have lasted longer if there had been a lesbian in it |
No. Nothing like it. Personally I enjoyed it though I did see it at the cinema which added to the atmosphere. Viewed on the small screen with crappy sound may not be the best way to see it. |
So you are saying these free rips have crappy sound? How can you complain about something that is free. I don't understand it. The sound is good to me. |
Think he just meant its way better in the theater. |
@Guest-5183 - What about a small screen with an top-notch sound system? Or maybe a 30in hi-res monitor with a decent sound system & sitting the optimal distance from the screen? Or maybe even a decent home theater setup? Using an extreme polar opposite of the way you watched it isn't a realistic critique at all. |
That's exactly what I was saying sopcop77. The sound in this movie plays a key role in adding to the tension. Is that just a storm on the roof or is someone or something up there? |
@ Guest-5183 TeeVees are meant for TeeVee viewing not a full cinematic experience If your TeeVee sound is crappy why not try a 'soundbar' or plug the TeeVee audio into an external amplifier and speakers |
People today are so lazy and clueless, they can't be bothered setting up a good 7.1 sound system to go with their wall-sized TVs. They don't realise just how important a good wall of sound is to the overall viewing experience. You can hear my movies playing from the far side of the wooded park behind my house. |
This is indeed worthy of a decent system, I have a mid 7.2.4 and surprisingly a decent horror, Sound is a big factor and it's great here, would actually love a dts-x or trueHD of this |
What do folks think the 'audio out' connections on the TV are for |
TVs will provide breathtaking sound and a true cinematic experience if you can be ed to connect up an amp and speaker system |
I have a simple 2.0 stereo system. I am going to add a Subwoofer soon. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference a Sub makes. |
Don't let the 'Shudder' logo at the very beginning put you off This is much better than the campy, cheesy, bad SFX 'Wolf Creek' This is very dialog-driven for the most part, well the first two acts (film critic on scene ) but it is good dialog and makes you think Both leads are great Without giving too much away at the end we felt like we had awoken from an episode of 80s soap opera ' Dallas' Thnx |
Ahh Man I Love Wolf Creek movies. They are working on Wolf Creek 3 with John Jarratt reprising his same role as Mick Taylor. |
The trailer is decent, I'll watch this movie. Thanks galaxyguys. Thawne |
Yeah, well that's just not true. I tried it once and ended up with a copy of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott when I really need the Haynes Manual for a 2008 Hyundai Sonata 2.4. |
Can a mobile home in a caravan park quasi technically also be a cabin in the park surrounded by woods? |
Can a mobile home in a caravan park quasi technically also be a cabin in the park surrounded by woods? No, that's a paradox. A mobile home in a caravan park can be a quasi cabin in the park surrounded by woods. A mobile home in a caravan park can also technically be a cabin in the park surrounded by woods. |
